It made it fun to make and have everyone guess what they thought it would be. The whipped cream topping was good if you like whip cream but I would have preferred a buttercream icing or cream cheese icing instead. They tasted great though and would recommend to anyone who enjoys whipped cream and likes a little fun with their baking.

The frosting is very tasty with a crunchy texture, and there was enough of it that I'll be able to use it for a future recipe. My cupcake could have been prettier if I had a good frosting press. But overall, I recommend this cupcake; it's very tasty and worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved the Wicked Reveal Cupcake Kit! My 13-year-old made them all on her own, and they turned out amazing. The pink color reveal was super clear and vibrant — very effective and perfect for the occasion. She baked them for exactly 13 minutes (don’t go longer!) and they came out light, fluffy, and moist. The flavor was delicious — not overly sweet, just right. Super easy to use and a really fun surprise inside. We’ll definitely be getting these again!

We couldn’t wait to see if we got Green or pink! The box comes with everything you need aside from some oil, milk, and a cupcake pan. A powder mix for the cupcakes, as well as the whipped topping were easily labeled and ready to go! The contents also had 13 black cupcake wrappers to conceal the surprise if you were presenting them after baking. After mixing up the batter and cooking in the oven, we waiting for them to cool before whipping up the icing winch was whipped cream tasting, light, fluffy and delicious. Make sure to put in the fridge if not eating right away as it does get a little funky. The cake itself was delicious and it was a fun time from start to finish. If you haven’t already go grab you a box! We got green!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were really good. Kid approved! It was fun to guess if we was going to be Pink for good or Green for wicked. I guessed green and my son guessed pink. He won the bet! They smelled just as good as they tasted while baking. They came out super soft and moist. Be sure to follow the directions and they will come out perfect! The frosting wasn’t as good as I expected but it was still pretty tasty. I was expecting it to have more of a vanilla taste than it actually did. I mixed both the frosting and cupcake mix by hand and that was easier than I thought! These were so fun to make and tasted so good. We may be buying another box! Maybe we will get the wicked ones next time! :)

They had great flavor but the icing was disappointing. Everything was super fun to make but the icing was so bland. It was like a flavorless whipped cream. I would buy these again and maybe add something to sweeten the icing up a bit.

Don’t have a mixer so the topping may not have been as “whipped” as it should be otherwise but overall they were yummy and fun to make.

The only things you needed to add were water, milk, oil and egg. It made it super easy to make. It was really fun guessing what color they would be and then really neat to watch the cupcake batter change color when you added the liquid ingredients. Such a great idea. I gave it 4 stars only because we didn’t seem to get 12 cupcakes out of it.It said 3 tablespoon of batter per cupcake but we only got 8 and even those didn’t rise super high and could’ve used a bit more batter. It did make a lot of whipped topping though and we even had some extra. The topping was easy to make but I found had a slight after taste I didn’t like although my spouse said he liked the taste. It’s definitely more of a whipped topping than a frosting and I probably would have preferred a more traditional frosting over the whipped. Overall though the cupcakes were really good, moist and fun.

They were more expensive than the comparable boxed cake mix and frosting. It got worse from there. Ours were green and thats what the cake tasted like, green food coloring. The frosting was horrible with hardly any flavor except the sprinkles that were in the frosting.
