They gave more frosting powder than cake mix powder. Also the frosting wasn’t all that sweet at all. Although i dont like overly sweet frosting, this didn’t have any flavor to me.

The idea is that you don’t know whether your cupcakes will turn out Enchantingly Emerald or Perfectly Pink until you mix the batter — and mine ended up coming out a vibrant pink, which was really cute and totally on theme with the packaging. The kit comes with the cupcake mix, frosting mix, and baking cups, so it’s super convenient for a quick treat. The cupcakes themselves bake up soft and fluffy, and the color reveal definitely adds excitement, especially if you’re doing this with kids or fans of the Wicked movie. The frosting is sweet and fluffy, though I’d recommend chilling it a bit before spreading to get a cleaner finish. Mine turned out tasty but a little rustic, which honestly gave it some homemade charm. Overall, this kit is fun, festive, and perfect for a themed movie night or gifting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these cupcakes were very easy to make. You only need an egg, oil, water, and milk to make. Everything else is included even the cupcake cups. It’s exciting to see what color your cakes will turn when mixing but thats where the magic ends. The flavor is not so great! Better off making regular cupcakes and adding some food coloring if you’re looking for flavor.

I mixed all of the wet ingredients and then poured in the cake mix package to reveal the color. The icing taste is amazing! The box comes with the cupcake mix, icing mix, cupcake liners, and sprinkles for the top of the cupcakes - it is really a complete project in a box! It tasted delicious as any cupcake would taste!

I added a box of instant French vanilla pudding, and I feel like that’s the only thing giving the cakes flavor. I wish I would’ve tasted the topping before piping, because I would’ve added vanilla to it. But in theory this mix is supposed to be good as is. It just isn’t. The overall flavor is really bland. The color reveal thing is cute, but it’s style over substance.

I know that it was advertised that this only makes 12 cupcakes, but to charge almost triple what the regular mixes cost is shameful. And the cupcakes didn't taste great. Do better, Betty Crocker.

They had so much fun trying to guess which color they would end up with. These cupcakes were very easy to make. We ended up getting the green colored cupcakes. These cupcakes were very lightweight and the durability of the cupcakes held up and they came out green just as described. I would absolutely recommend these Betty Crocker Wicked Reveal cupcakes to do with your children as my daughters had a blast making and decorating the cupcakes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were easy to follow and it was very convenient and quick to make. However, the taste was not great, especially for the frosting. I made some adjustments that greatly improved the flavor - I added softened butter and cream cheese as well as powdered sugar and pure vanilla extract to the frosting mix. With those adjustments the cupcakes tasted much better, however, before then, the frosting tasted extremely bland. The mix itself tasted good, and I used milk instead of water and melted butter instead of oil - this is a trick I always use on box mixes that always improves the quality!

It is a mix to reveal, so I didn’t know if it was going to be pink or green. After adding liquid it did turn out to be pink and the flavor was so yummy!

These are the most DELICIOUS cupcakes I have ever eaten. Not only are they super fun to make, but they are also aesthetically pleasing, aromatic, and just overall perfection. I seriously cannot brag enough about these cupcakes. Wish I could post a picture of my favorite batch!

The topping was light and fluffy like cool whip. I had about 2x the amount of topping than I needed for the cupcakes so very good value for money.

When i made this cupcakes, I've never been so happy with the result! The Taste is amazing, i was surprised over how perfect it was. Sweet, but Not that heavily sweet like other cupcakes done around. And The frosting, omg!! Im not a big fan of frosting because of how unbearable sweet it is, but when I did this frosting, i was shocked on how amazing it was! I need the frosting powder to be available by itself so I can make it all the time with my pastries. Generally, I am overally so happy with this product, from everything, from the cupcakes to its theme, wicked and Betty crocker are always the ones to go for!! Totally recommend, specially for a wickedly Afternoon where you can eat these beauties while watching both movies

My kids were semi disappointed that they didn’t get green, but the pink cupcakes were delicious. The frosting that comes with it is really light and delicate, It was easy to make with the kids and we really enjoyed this process as a family. I had the kids do the icing and the mixing, and it was a great experience to have together- not to mention- very delicious.

I may have accidentally did something while baking and the color didn't came as what I wanted, but my partner did right. It was really a good deal for the price and tastes so good.
