It glides on smoothly and helps lessen my pain. I did find it was rather small and awkward to hold when trying to use it on my back. Overall I would use again.

There’s no methyl salicylate or camphor or anything else to help with pain relief. It didn’t help relieve my pain at all — it just made me smell like menthol.

I like that it does not have an overpowering smell like most similar products. At first I felt like it was not working at all, but I did have to wait about 10 minutes to feel the full effects. This Biofreeze dry stick comes in a convenient applicator which allows you to apply the product without getting it on your hands-i really like that! It is portable and small enough to tuck into a pocket or purse. It has a light menthol scent which isn't very noticeable, which is good if you don't want to walk around smelling like a medicine cabinet. The product packaging claims to "cool the pain", however, when I applied it, I didn't feel any type of "cool", maybe a slight warmth but definitely not cool. As time went on, within a few minutes, I did begin to feel a gentle coolness come over where I applied the product. Biofreeze did manage to ease some pain, but not completely dissipate it. This product can be used on children and adults 12 years of age and up and 3-4 times per day.

My forearm has been hurting from trying to improve my serve and this little stick feels cooling and soothing. It absorbs and the menthol tingle is long lasting. I have used the roll on Biofreeze - it is freezing & it does a good job numbing pain for me feet/leg/ankle. I bought the stick for travel, and it was worthless - it doesn't "freeze" at all. The most I got was some smell & a tiny bit of dulling pain relief if that.
