Bissell Free & Clear 64oz New Family Mess Rescue Multi-Surface Formula

I really try to buy cleaner options for my household so the ingredients was a plus to start. I used the solution on hard floors as a mopping solution for routine cleaning. I have 2 messy boys and it worked well and left them looking clean without any strong scents.

It is a great value and I appreciate that it has less odor but still cleans well and leaves my house smelling fresh without smelling too overpowering. This is an instance where I will say it clearly: Just buy Bissell's Multi-Surface Cleaner! I love, love, love my Bissell Crosswave Edge and had just run out of the sample solution that comes with it when I got this one. Let me just say, if you're a clean-freak like me, you can really appreciate that barefoot feeling of walking across squeaky clean hardwoods. You DEFINITELY get that effect with this multi-surface cleaner. As a mom with allergies myself, a toddler and a dog, gentle cleaners are a must in our household. Knowing this is free of any dyes or perfumes let me feel secure I was providing the safest clean on surfaces my family interacts with daily (and without giving me a headache which I get from other cleaners!) I first cleaned the rug my dog sleeps on daily and the after photo of the water I think says it all. This cleaner WORKS. Just to clarify, that was just cleaning my kitchen rug that by normal standards "appeared" clean! The only downside I will mention (also pictured) is the pour-spout. I found it nearly impossible to pour the recommended amount of solution into my Crosswave reservoir without spilling. And at the price point, every drop counts! I'd want this to be easier in the future so I don't have to grab a funnel every time. If you're looking for a great clean with no headache and that fresh-house feel afterwards, this is it!

With a teenager and dog in the house, we always have a mess to clean and this solution works perfectly on multiple types of surfaces. My favorite thing is that it is hypoallergenic! The fragrance free formula is gentle but still leaves our floors feeling and looking fresh without the strong smells. This formula is awesome for our normal cleaning but is also perfect for spot cleaning all kinds of messes and spills!

I used it in my Crosswave OmniForce Edge in hopes that it would be able to tackle some tough spots on my kitchen floor, and it barely made a dent. I specifically used it to try to clean up some dried food that my toddler flung on the floor earlier in the day. I had high hopes since I’m always in search of gentler formulas to use in our home, but this simply did not cut it.

Our first trial was a buttery garlic broccoli spill on our ceramic tile floor. After cleanup there was no trace of butter or garlic and the grout dried without a stain. We appreciate the hypoallergenic component as my husband is pretty sensitive to smells. This did not bother him or the children. Lastly, held up to a pet mess without lingering smell or stain. I use it in our Bissell Crosswave, but because the formula is so gentle, it can be used in a variety of floor cleaning machines. Things I like: It’s effective used to mop hardwoods as well as to clean and refresh rugs! I love not having to switch products to get all of our floor surfaces sparkling clean and odor-free at once. It’s also unscented, which is amazing for our sensitive dog, who often goes into a sneezing fit when I use scented floor products. She has a lot of allergies, and I don’t have to worry about her lying on our rugs after I use this. And it’s great to feel our toddler can roll around on the floor without worrying about harsh chemical carpet cleaner on his sensitive skin. Our hardwoods came out super shiny and our rugs looked brighter after using this. The only disappointment for me is that I didn’t discover this sooner. It’s a new regular in my cleaning routine.

I love that it is a free and clear option. One of our kids has allergies and it’s nice to know this won’t irritate his eczema since it is hypoallergenic. I have mostly used it just for general floor cleaning. I haven’t had any big messes or stains I have needed to use it on since I’ve had it. I love that it comes in a large bottle. We are a family of 7, 2 humans, 2 puppies and 3 cats. Our floors deal with spills, accidents, did I mention 2 puppies, and just regular dirt. The cleaner worked amazingly removed the spills with ease normal dirt and accidents. The floors are clean, grout lines clean and a freshness in the air as well. Being hypoallergenic helps as gentler not only for us but also our fur babies. The size of bottle is great no needs to have spare little bottles of past. This is also a great savings after multiple uses.

I used to still be able to wipe up dirt off the floor even right after they were clean, but with the Crossweave, the floors actually get CLEAN!!! It cleans just as well as the other options so that was a plus too! You can see in the pics.. I dropped half a dozen eggs on the floor. Then the last Pic shows how clean the floor was after using the free & clear solution!

I used it on my hardwood floors which are most of the home, as well as, my bathrooms which are ceramic tile. I liked that this was clean and free formula, which I have never tried before. It didn't leave the usual strong scent after cleaning and it really did a great job on my floors. I liked most about this cleaning formula, the fact that it was hypoallergenic. During the allergy seasons, it was great to clean with a product that wouldn't make everyone's allergies worse. In my opinion, I do like a light scent left behind after cleaning.

I’m always hesitant to try the cleaner versions of cleaning products because I don’t usually find them as effective. However, this still got even my toughest messes cleaned up! My floors are typically a disaster. Between 2 large dogs, a toddler, and my husband, my floors require the best products and machines available. This solution was up for the challenge! It took up dried milk, dog urine, and caked mud like it was no problem! This has easily replaced my standard cleaning products with 1 bottle.
