Q: I dripped about 5 dime size spots of beach on beige carpet that was installed only 5 months ago. it's now discolored. is there anything I can do to fix it?

A: Our products won't be able to help correct bleached carpet. This cleaning formula does not contain bleach and is designed to remove dirt and oils from carpet and upholstery.

Q: Is this septic safe? As in if I dump the used water with the cleaner in it is there any risk to my septic system?

Hydrogen peroxide is a bleach which should not be used on wool or silk. It will oxidize or burn the fabrics. Sometimes you might get away with it with clothing or nylon rugs. But I think portable rug cleaners are best used with plain water.

On Friday I was having “that day” and when walking in the door from SBX my lip was loose and spilled latte on the rug. Oh no! I grabbed a towel and sat the drink on the TV tray. Unknown to me the tray legs weren’t fully extended so the entire Venti latte went all over the rug. I used two of the top brand canned cleaners. One with oxy, the other red can but it was still present. I used the product that rhymes with Rolex, didn’t work. I purchased the little green to try on Saturday evening. On the first pass, pulled it right out. You can’t tell at all that a strain had been there!

I recently moved and I had a couch and love seat that had seen better times. The edges of the cushions and the armrests had build up from sweat and dirt. Also, because they sat in storage for awhile, they were filled with debris that had built up in the storage unit. They were to the point that I didn't want to sit on them. I purchased this to make them loveable again. It took one cleaning to remove the majority of the dirt. And it was dirty. The second cleaning was more for the really bad areas, like the previously mentioned armrest and cushion edges. I'm not only using them again, I'm actually sleeping on the couches because they are so comfortable. I wish I had done before and after pictures, but believe me when I say, I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
