Black & Decker BEHT200 120V 3.5 Amp Brushed 18 in. Corded Hedge Trimmer

This was a Father’s Day gift for my husband .. and he has already used it. Great tool and I am able to handle it without any issues a well.. glad I made the purchase! Makes our hedges and bushes easier to maintain.

Easy to handle, minimal vibration, lite weight and low price makes it a great trimmer. Had Black and Decker trimmers previously and always worked well. As a matter of fact, my last one was so old the case was metal. I'd most like would have still had it if I had not lent it out and got it back broken.

Works OK! like it should. The handle is just a little too thick for my hands, gets hard to hold after a while and gets a little heavy. I have to stop and put it down to rest my hands. I cannot tell the difference from my Toro 17" hedge clippers, power wise. B&B states it is 3.5 amps. I see no difference than my Toro which is 2.7 amps. Sounds, torque, speed, and vibrations. It's double the price. I do a lot of trimming on my home property. It is a good product and will trim good

BOUGHT IT THIS MORNING, EASY TO PUT TOGETHER(HANDLE), STARTED TRIMMING THE BUSHES RIGHT AWAY. THIS HEDGE TRIMMER WAS GREAT TO USE, LIGHTWEIGHT, POWERFUL, EASY TO MANEUVER AROUND, SHARP BLADES, COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

Cuts well. Good balance. Nice handle to turn sideways however they forgot that one has to hold the "on" switch in a position 90 degrees out. Causes chaffing on top of hand and balance is then off. Older unit that I replaced had a lock which would keep unit engaged (on) ) and would disengage if power switch was hit) this one does not. I guess for safety for people that just don't know how to handle tools. Power cord: Looping into the handle will cause unnatural bending of power cord over time and will cause it to fail. Previous design was much better and kept cord away when moving device. Overall I am satisfied with the unit given the price and performance to date

Real happy with the cutting, was able to use on a variety of bushes and it handled each type very well in terms of ease of cutting. I did have a problem with the "clamp" at the handle to use with the power cord, which may either be a user issue or a problem with the clamp. My power cord continues to pop free from the clamp, and I actually hacked thru 2 power cords as a result.

I have been using a Gas powered Hedge Trimmer for the past ten years, it was heavy, noisy and often had fuel related issues. Today I fooled with it for a few hours and just could not get it to start! I got online, and found the B&D BEHT200 in stock at the Ace Hardware nearby. I went to the store, purchased it, came home assembled it in minutes. Five screws is all there is to the assembly. Forty-five minutes later I was cleaning up after trimming seven shrubs. they looked great! This trimmer is lightweight, very quiet,and easy to maneuver! At a fraction of the cost of a gas powered trimmer! And I won't have to repair it every time I need to use it! The BEHT200 did an excellent job in less time.

Bought this last month. Immediately started trimming bushes and cut the cord. There is a well written warning not to do so. Do not make this mistake. Always step back and move the cord so it will be behind you when you resume work. Right before I cut it I thought “Be sure not to cut the cord.” When one is wise enough to ensure the cord is out of harms, the trimmer works like a charm. I highly recommend it, asking that you disregard it being made by a dummy who cut the cord.

Bought the trimmer for my wife who does all of our trimming. We have a lot of shrubs to trim several times throughout the year. She loves it!!!! Buying another one for my daughter's family.

I've been using manual hedge trimmers to shape my bushes for years, but after a rainy Spring, my shrubs had gotten out of control. I decided to buy an electric hedge trimmer to cut down on the work load and hand/arm fatigue, and I'm so glad I did! This trimmer feels solid and strong, and was assembled in about 10 minutes (my Phillips screwdriver isn't the best!) and after locating an outdoor extension cord, I decided to head to the backyard to give it a whirl... It was very easy to operate and in about 20 minutes I'd accomplished more than I would have in an hour by hand. My son - who typically doesn't like yard work - even came out and trimmed a bush, too. I am very pleased with this purchase and wish I'd have bought one years ago!

When I purchased this product I had doubts about it working like I hoped it would. It past the test!

We have a big bush in the backyard that needs trimming and shaping several times a year. I used to do it with pruning sheer, but the job became tougher every year. With the trimmer, which works greatly, I did it a lot easier and better, and in a fraction of the time.

I finally got around to trying my new Hedge Trimmer. I am extremely happy with my purchase. It does a great job in cutting through the bushes, etc. I definitely recommend this trimmer to anyone who needs a good trimmer.

I bought this trimmer last summer and love it! It is not real heavy and easy to use. I have five huge bushes out front and 4 small in back and it gets it all done and 20v battery lasts the whole time.

I have switched all my Black & Decker tools to 20 volts (lithium), it has taken about a year and a half. This was my first - I use it every week and it still cuts and acts like new.

I needed a replacement from my old trimmer of 20 years. This fits the bill perfectly! It has a longer cutting blade than my old one and is so much lighter!

I bought this a few months ago because we needed to trim down our side bushes and I was amazed by the power this hedge trimmer has! It cuts beautiful and after I am done my bushes looks so nice and clean cut.
