A: Hello, To keep your BD05MWT6 running efficiently, we recommend cleaning it regularly. Always unplug the unit before cleaning. To clean the air filter, slide it out from the front right side of the unit. Wash it gently with warm water (not exceeding 40°C / 104°F) and mild dish soap, then rinse and shake off excess water. Let the filter dry completely before reinstalling. Never run the unit without the air filter in place, as this may cause frost buildup on the cooling coils. For the cabinet and front panel, you can wipe them with a soft cloth dampened in a mild soap and warm water solution. To clean more thoroughly, you may remove the front panel by gently releasing the side clips or screws, if applicable. Avoid using harsh cleaners, wax, or polish, and make sure no excess water gets into the control area. Dry everything thoroughly before plugging the unit back in. Unit is quite loud on the low setting and not good for an office. The auto mode ramps up to incredibly loud and even in a small room it runs often. Cools nicely but its louder than the 15 year old unit it was replacing. Its not too heavy which makes it easier to install but even with a good sale price its not recommended.

I suspect some of these reviews are for a different model. Personally, this is the worst AC I've ever. It is very weak and has an awful rattle. The remote is very convoluted for what should just be a few simple settings. I just hate it.

It was easy to install and keeps the room nice and cool. I love that it has a remote so we can easily adjust the temperature even while we’re in bed. Definitely recommend!

Our upstairs was really hot and the air didn't seem to make it there no matter how cold we kept the temp. This unit has really helped cool down the whole upper level and our bill hasn't gone up much so very energy efficient.

This is a great and efficient ac unit. I would highly recommend. It cools the room really fast in just a few minutes and is efficient. It does not put a dent into your electricity bill at all. The unit is heavy but still easy to install onto the windowsill.

I live in an apartment with lots of west facing windows, and no central air. My rooms get so hot in the afternoon, and this unit has been a lifesaver. I have one in my bedroom and one in my living room, and they keep the rooms so comfortable. They were easy to install, look nice, are quiet while running, and were very reasonably priced.
