Play sun safe with Blue Lizard Kids Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion. Formulated with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, this kid-friendly mineral sunscreen provides broad-spectrum, head-to-toe sun protection from harmful UV rays, including 98% of UVB rays. With up to 80 minutes of water resistance, this is the ultimate choice for more fun under the sun. With a new and improved formula, this 100% mineral sunscreen now includes antioxidant-rich Blue Algae. How to Use: Shake well prior to use. Apply liberally to dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. For topical use only. Keep out of reach of children. For children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Technically it works as it should- keeps my kids from getting burned even after swimming for 90 minutes. So that’s a plus! But otherwise I really didn’t like this sunscreen. The feel is so greasy and it took forever to soak in and not be white and anywhere there’s a body crease stayed white. My kids faces were so shiny even after it soaked in. I’ve definitely used better mineral sunscreens for kids. And at this price point- $15 for 5 fl oz - it isn’t really all that economical for us. After three uses (full body for two kids under 10) the tube is almost empty. I won’t be buying again. The search for the holy grail of kid sunscreen continues.

Great product! I’m a skin cancer survivor (11 times now) and started using Blue Lizard SPF 50 a couple of years ago. I am very happy with it. Just wish they made an adult stick or roll on. Then I would love Blue Lizard even more!

It's a bit heavy, so I wouldn't use it for daily use, as it can be a bit bothersome, It does its job of protecting, but it leaves a slightly whitish appearance on the skin. But despite all this, it's a very effective and long-lasting product.

I can't say how water resistant it is yet as of weather hasn't been the best to test it out but I feel like it works great and has better ingredients than other products on the market. Works like sunscreen should.

It's probably one of the best spf products I've used and I don't see myself buying any others. Love it being a mineral based sunscreen which makes it safe for me to use and even coral reef safe when I go to the beach! It's not super oily and blends into my skin just fine without leaving a white film. Overall I love this product and will be trying more of this line!

It has almost no scent, which is great for kids who are sensitive to strong smells. The protection is excellent — we’ve spent a lot of time outside lately, and I haven’t noticed even a hint of redness or irritation on my child’s skin. I also really appreciate the clean ingredients. It’s a mineral-based sunscreen with zinc oxide, and it’s free from fragrances and parabens, which makes me feel safer using it every day. The lotion is a bit thick, like most mineral sunscreens, but it spreads pretty easily and doesn’t leave a heavy white cast. The packaging is really smart — the bottle changes color in the sun, which is a fun and helpful reminder to reapply. It absorbs quickly and works fantastically, just make sure you dry off before reapplying. I love that it’s reef safe as well. Plus what’s really neat about the packaging is that the cap changes color in harmful UV light.

Others we have used either broke my kids out, or it didn't do well on keeping them from getting sunburnt. This one never fails us. A little goes a long way!
