Bluetooth Party Speaker with Handle and Rolling Wheels Large (No Mic) - heyday™

I absolutely love this wireless speaker. It is a great size. The LED lights have different settings and they’re really nice and the sound is absolutely amazing. We’ve been using it out on our deck and I’ve actually used it on. Top of my refrigerator works perfectly.

The Heyday large outdoor wireless speaker is the largest speaker I now own. I'm no audiophile, and usually for outdoor parties I have been using a much, much smaller Bluetooth speaker that got the job done a few times a year. This thing is quite a beast size-wise, but also light enough to make it easy to pick up and move around. However, there are some tradeoffs with that. The speaker isn't the greatest sounding, even with multiple EQ settings. The bass on or off doesn't make much of a difference. That said, it's fine for a party for background, but really not that great overall for listening. To be fair, that's what this thing is for. If you want clarity and range and all that, you're going need to upgrade to more expensive speakers. This thing is meant to be portable, and that it is. It rolls like a suitcase with a collapsable handle. The wheels do not pivot, but they roll nicely. Though given how relatively light weight it is, the wheels aren't really necessary as it can be carried without issue. The build quality seems adequate. I wouldn't put this in any extreme weather, but as long as you're not abusing it, it should work fine. If you're hauling it around constantly, it might take a bit of a beating, but you shouldn't need to baby it or anything to keep it in working condition. How long it will last, I couldn’t say. The battery boasts 12 hours, which should be plenty sufficient for my needs. But all batteries eventually die, so once that's toast it becomes less portable/useful. I don't believe there's anyway to officially replace it, so unless you plug it in, it's basically e-waste once the battery gives up. But that's not a problem that's unique to this speaker, just a fact of all portable electronics without replaceable batteries. The colors are neat, but not really anything special. There are six light modes (besides "off"): a red one that flashes to the music (and only red, for some reason), one that sort of "rolls vertically" through multiple colors (red, green, blue, yellow, purple, teal, and an off-white? color), solid green, solid blue, flashing red/blue/orange, and solid red. It's not the greatest feature, but it's there. Unfortunately, the colors are barely visible in sunlight, so unless it's dark out or you're inside, don't rely on that at all. Paring with my tablet via Bluetooth was simple enough. No issues with connecting and staying connected. The volume can get quite loud, which is great for a good size gathering/party. I don't have a microphone, but I imagine it would be a pretty solid amp to boost your voice to a crowd/group of people. It can also charge devices with a USB-A port, so it's basically a giant portable battery in a pinch, too, which is nice. In sum, this is no professional or enthusiast equipment. It's a simple party box with limited features and plenty of volume. It looks like you can also pair it with another speaker of the same brand (large or medium) to get stereo sound, which is a nice touch, but I can't test since I only have the one.

I’m so excited about this speaker. The sound is amazing, it’s light weight enough to carry around easily, and still good quality. You can control the songs from the speaker and change the lights. This will be amazing by the pool this summer!

I’ve been using the Heyday large portable Bluetooth speaker for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. The sound is rich with deep bass, and it gets loud enough for outdoor gatherings. Battery life is solid, and the design feels sturdy yet stylish. Definitely worth the price.
