Great for Oatmeal Muffins
A favorite oatmeal muffin recipe (with double the fruit and nuts, and a fraction of the sugar) tasted a little off when I substituted whole wheat flour for some of the all-purpose white flour, but Bob's Red Mill oat flour made them taste delicious. I'm also using walnut oil instead of melted butter, and that also enhances the flavor.

Getting Healthier
It is a more health version to my cooking. The taste is great and very easy to get from Bobs Red Mill. The stores I shop at did not have in stock, plus I ordered on line, received very fast. I am excited about all the new flours I purchased, already found the receipts to use. A great product to still use in my receipts.

Always a bag in the freezer
This is my "gold standard" for a GF flour. I use it straight in some recipes, and often used it mixed: 2/3 oat, 1/3 brown rice flour. With just a dash of xanthum gum added. For a more substantial recipe (such as a quiche crust) I'll use 60% oat, 15% brown rice and about a 1/3 fine almond meal. Again small amount of xanthum gum and maybe 1/2 tsp of salt. Add to the dry ingredients oil and milk (2 parts oil for one part milk) and it makes a great pie crust.

Same as brown rice flour-began using for homemade dog treats but had difficulty finding in stores. Due to pandemic can no longer search from store to store so ordering online in larger quantities will allow me to use for than dog treats
