Budget friendly
So, I decided to switch it up from their famous spray and try the Body Drench Quick Tan Mousse in Medium Dark, and honestly, the experience was a bit different. The pump dispenses a nice, fluffy foam with a really intense dark guide color, which I actually love because I can instantly see where I’ve applied it—no guessing games here! However, unlike the spray that dries instantly, this mousse stayed tacky on my skin for a good 20 minutes, so I was doing the awkward scarecrow pose in my bathroom trying not to touch anything. The scent starts off sweet, kind of like chocolate or cocoa, but that classic "biscuit" DHA smell definitely crept in as it started to develop on my skin. Once I washed it off the next morning, the color payoff was undeniably gorgeous—a deep, rich brown with absolutely zero orange undertones that honestly looked like I spent a week in Cabo. It faded pretty evenly over about four days, though I did notice it gathered a bit in the pores on my legs, giving me that dreaded "strawberry leg" look despite exfoliating beforehand. It’s a solid budget-friendly option if you want deep color fast, but just be prepared to feel a bit sticky while it sets. I'm giving this one a 3.5/5 stars; the color is a total win, but the formula's texture needs a little work compared to high-end brands.
