Boppy Tummy Time Prop Pillow - Black White Rainbow

A great alternative to the original boppy for the newborn stage. Only problem is the cover isn’t removable! Babies spit up, have blowout diapers, pee… even if it’s only used for tummy time babies are messy!

The pillow came unstitched along the left side of the pillow. That is my only complaint. Otherwise my granddaughter enjoys it.

Bought this along with the matching playmat and has been great for tummy time! Design and quality are what I love about this brand. It offers nice support, play value, and I appreciate the neutral colors that work so perfectly in my home.

This item is a little too small. Feel like baby will outgrow it by 3-4 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This tummy time prop did a great job of supporting my baby during tummy time. It was soft but firm enough to hold him steady. It was also low enough to the ground that it was comfortable to extend arms out in front. I wish the cover was removable but you can wash the entire pillow if needed. I would also like more variety in the patterns. Overall does exactly what is needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Boppy Tummy Time Prop as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and did not like it. Pediatricians recommend that tummy time be done on a hard flat surface so they can practice pushing up to build back, neck, and core muscles. This is also the safest way to do tummy time. This prop is soft and doesn't allow babies to push up. We tried it and my baby didn't stay up on the prop but fell down into the hole which was unsafe like I worried would happen. It also didn't allow her to push up which is the whole point of tummy time. My 4 month old is working on rolling over so another negative aspect of this product is that she can't do that either. Initially the small, baby size Boppy pillow looked cute, but in the end I found it to be an unnecessary baby product. I did like the cute neutral design of the product. My baby liked playing with the attached cute toys. My older kids could interact by playing with the toys together, but that was the only part I liked about it.

But I was pleasantly surprised with Boppy’s tummy time support pillow. The shape seems correct enough to align with babies body and allow them to lay in a natural form. It’s not too small, but just the right size for baby. The pillow if firm enough to hold baby upright. Neutral colors and the crinkle toys are an added bonus to keep babies attention. Tummy time is usually a struggle in our house, and it usually doesn’t last more than a few seconds because she gets frustrated, however, I was able to lay down with her and play with her for probably close to 10 minutes. She seemed comfortable and didn’t get fussy. My favorite feature of this pillow would probably be the firmness/support and the feeling of the material. The material is smooth and it’s not velour or Minky or something that’s hard to clean. The overall design is just too cute and the functionality makes it even better! Special thanks to the stellar-panel for allowing me the chance to try this out for my little one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pillows shape and size was perfect but the fabric left something to be desired. Our baby would wiggle and slide off of it so easily. The toys tied to it were perfect for him to play with and he couldn’t just throw them to the side and not reach them anymore so I loved that they were attached! My baby actually likes doing tummy time with it! I love that is small and not bulky, I do wish it was slightly taller so we could use it for future sitting as, but it’s not that big of a deal to me. I love the cute, easy to wipe fabric also! My favorite thing about the pillow is the toys attached to it. Tummy time can be hard because they tend to push the toys away from them, but this pillow solves that problem! It’s so nice to have this pillow when I’m trying to play with my two year old, my 5 month old still feels involved and it’s easy to interact with her. I highly recommend this pillow!

I have the regular sized boppy pillow and I felt as if my little baby was struggling a bit more to use the normal sized pillow for tummy time. Not only is this pillow the perfect size, but it also has a fun design on it to keep my baby occupied! Further, it has two toys on the pillow as well to help baby enjoy tummy time. The crinkle toy has become my babies favorite toy to play with during tummy time. The shape is perfect in that my baby doesn’t keep falling down and crying to have me prop her up. Unlike other pillows that are either too short in height, or not long enough to securely support my daughter this boppy has the fit on point. Sliding toys are much easier for my daughter to play with, minimizing frustration and lengthening our tummy time sessions. As she grows the shape of the pillow still allows for a secure fit. The only drawback to this product for my family is that my 2 year old wants to rip the toys off the sliding portion when his sister is not playing in it, and I'm scared he might actually break it. So tummy time for us now happens during his nap times to prevent damage. It is easy enough to wipe up any spit up or drool, and is a very soft material. Thank you to the Stellar Product panel for providing my family this ingenious sliding toy tummy time prop from boppy, it has opened up my daughter's engagement skills, and allowed her to get fine motor skill play without frustration! I will be buying this product to gift at baby showers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son just turned 5 months old when I got this pillow. I think it was too small for him. I've attached pictures of him using it. It is the exact same shape as the nursing pillow, just smaller. There's nothing else you could do with it since it's so small. I would just get the regular nursing pillow and prop him up on it with toys in front of it. The toys attached were cute, but they were at an odd angle sometimes and I would have to hand them to him. He wasn't able to grab them by himself. My favorite thing about this was that it was aesthetically pleasing, and wasn't a bunch of obnoxious baby colors that most baby items are. My baby really enjoys the way it props her up, and the toys attached for her to chew on and play with. It is a good design, similar to boppy feeding pillows, and my wife has been able to use it for that when she nurses while travelling. Overall, a cute design and a lot of good use out of it.

I have another timmytime pillow that tends to be too big for my four month old baby but this was the perfect size as she is on the smaller side. The placememt of the toys was also perfect she was playing and reaching for them while on her belly. I have a 1.5 year old toddler as well and she had so much fun playing with her baby sister during tummytime. The square-like shape made me feel a bit mire secure about my baby being more secure. I was very excited to try a new one! This boppy had the perfect amount of stuffing to provide support during tummy time.
