Q: Hello. Would these work to sleep with? Trying to find something to quiet a snoring partner.

submitted by terrikb - 2 months ago
  • A: The Bose website says (Gen 2 version) has "Option to disable touch controls via the Bose app." If you sleep on your back, as opposed to your side or stomach, you could nap until the battery runs out.

submitted byBobBandAidUser - 1 month ago
  • A: Hi terrikb, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While you can sleep with them on, they do slightly stick out and can have accidental button presses. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Hi, Does the case auto charge the earbuds similar to what it is in the Samsung earbuds pro cases or case must be connected to a source of power?

submitted by Mohamed - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Mohamed, thanks for reaching out about the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds use a USB-C cable to connect a power adapter to charge the earbuds in the case. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7 am-11 pm CST.

  • A: Thanks for the question Mohamed! The charging case doesn't need to be connected to a source of power - the case will charge the earbuds automatically when the buds are in there. You only need to plug the case into power if you want to charge the case itself.

Q: How does the noise cancellation compare to the headphones?

submitted by Tim - 5 months ago
  • A: This question is subjective to each customer. If you're unsure as to which product you'd prefer - headphones or earbuds - it may be worth trying both, and then returning the product you're less satisfied with insofar as this is possible via the seller's returns policy.

  • A: Hi Tim, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While both the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and the QuietComfort Headphones are known for excellent noise cancellation, there are some key differences: QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds: Strengths: More effective noise cancellation overall: Generally, the Ultra Earbuds edge out the Headphones in terms of pure noise reduction, especially in the higher frequencies. This means they might be slightly better at blocking out things like voices or sirens. Adaptive noise cancellation: The Ultra Earbuds have a feature called ActiveSense Aware that automatically adjusts the noise cancellation based on your surroundings. This means you can stay aware of your environment while still enjoying some noise reduction. Weaknesses: Less passive isolation: Because of their in-ear design, earbuds generally provide less passive noise isolation than over-ear headphones. This means that some lower-frequency sounds might not be blocked as effectively. QuietComfort Headphones: Strengths: Better passive isolation: The over-ear design of the Headphones creates a good seal around your ears, which helps to passively block out more noise, especially in the lower frequencies. More comfortable for some: Some people find over-ear headphones more comfortable for long periods of wear, especially if they have sensitive ears. Weaknesses: Slightly less effective active noise cancellation: While still excellent, the Headphones' active noise cancellation might not be quite as powerful as the Ultra Earbuds, particularly in the higher frequencies. Less portable: Over-ear headphones are generally bulkier and less portable than earbuds. The sound is good but the fit leaves a lot a lot to be desired. Two big design flaws: I have difficulty gripping them to get them out of the charging case. I even cut my nails thinking that was why but no. And I have small hands; the other one that caused a great deal of annoyance pushing them back into my ears (also very small) paused what I was listening to and then I’d have to press multiple times to get playback because there’s a delayed start. I love Bose products but these are a miss for functionality and comfort.

I’m purposely giving this 3 stars to get someone’s attention. These are excellent earbuds. Occasional disconnects from device for no reason. But, after exactly 1 year the case battery only lasts 2 days. It’s fine for now. I’m concerned how fast the battery is degrading. For the price I would expect better. Otherwise, I LOVE these I’m just frustrated that I may need to spend another 300 within 2 years of owning them.

Hi there, and thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that you love the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds — it means a lot to us. Your feedback about the occasional disconnects and battery performance is incredibly valuable, and we truly appreciate your honesty. It’s completely understandable to feel concerned about the battery life, especially with a product you’ve invested in and enjoy using daily. We’re here to help and would love to look into this further to see what options might be available to support you. The battery life of the earbuds with the immersive audio off is up to 6 hours. Here's a link that can troubleshoot the short battery life of your earbuds: https://support.bose.com/s/article/qcue-headphonein-short-battery-life---ka08c000001bue0aaa?language=en_US -Jelyn, Bose Customer Support

I work in pressure washing and im outside all day. I look forward to wearing earbuds or even $700 headphones I have like from Focal or Sennheiser. These Bose earbuds sound absolutely amazing! What amazed me the most was the immersive sound modes. I like the "Still" mode. When im walking around this mode will lock on to a target for a few seconds then pan back to you. It really makes like your in front of speakers or at a live concert. Also when I look at the trees it literally sounds like there's speakers up in the trees or on a ceiling looking up. They knocked it out of the park and never had a earbuds experience like that!

I really like them! I've always had a problem with ear buds, every one ive tried before these always made my ears hurt and gave me headaches after 20-30 minutes, haven't had a single problem with these so far. The audio quality is amazing, you can hear so many details in each song, now I'm no new to high quality audio but I haven't had a pair of ear buds with this kind of audio quality, it's quite good(very good)! I've had a couple of connection problem's but nothing major and it was on an older phone! I've had one or two popping sound's randomly. No idea what that was about? All in all I would give them 5/5

Listening to music is great! The different modes are great! Microphones are great for people to hear me when I'm on the phone! Too touch sensitive...I can't adjust them in my ear without turning the music on or off! When I try to change modes, it will increase the volume instead! As far as phone calls, I've tried increasing every volume available for this set, but I can just barely hear the person who's talking to me! Way overpriced for this pair of junk!

Great. Very comfortable. My advise, is if you have multiple BT connections going on, it gets glitchy. I have 4 Bose products, and have found the 'Multi-Point' feature is very Kool, but can be glitchy within the app. Not a dal breaker, just be aware.
