Bought May 2025 bought two to play in stereo or party mode. After a month they stopped playing together. Have spent hours following all the advice of restoring to factory settings. Cannot get ANY help from Bose. Cannot even find how to return them.

I bought this product late 6 months ago. It's awesome but there's a thing bothering that it's not compatible with previous flex generation make sure to do the same and there's a silent white hizz noise from speaker when idle it's irritating, this should be fixed by any software update and slight distortion at high volumes. Battery life not up to the mark needs to be improved as in less price segment from this many companies are offering 24hr battery backup and even more pls consider it . Relsove white hizz noise from this speaker fixx it . Rest all good .

Bought as a Mother's Day gift and the sound itself is second to none, the battery life is terrible. Possiblly a defective battery but as mentioned above the sound is what you would expect from Bose. Would I recommend, probably not. I will most likely buy myself the same speaker to compare battery life and will give an updated review. I have seen other Bose speakers go the distance in terms of battery life, so it was highly disappointing this speaker did not do as well for what it costs. Great sound if you don't mind constantly charging.

I bought 2 Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Speakers (2nd Gen), and I use them in stereo mode while playing golf, placing one in the front dash and the other one in the back basket. The sound has amazing clarity with great bass. The battery life is great and lasts longer than a four hour round. The speakers also sound great at home in my bedroom. The only negative is that I cannot link both speakers with a Bose soundbar for surround sound. That incapability prevents me from otherwise purchasing a Bose soundbar.
