Not fully satisfied
I have had mine for almost a year now. It provides a decent shave but requires several passes to get a good close shave. My big complaint is that its noisy and much more so then any other electric shaver I have owned. I clean and lubricate head after every shave and yet I feel as though after less then a full year the head is not cutting as well. The cost of replacing head alone is pretty steep especially if it needs replacing already.

Color me impressed!
My old rotary shaver from a different brand bit the dust and, since I'd had trouble finding spare parts for the model I had, I decided it was time to try something new. The new shavers from that other brand don't have an all-in-one clean and charge station like the old ones did and that was an important feature for me. I went to the store and looked at the shavers they had and saw this kit with a shaver (with built-in trimmer!!), a clean and charge base, and a schmancy travel case that tops up the shaver's battery. I wasn't sure how I'd like using a foil shaver vs a rotary shaver, but what could it hurt? I let it charge up and gave it a go on a 5-day beard. After one thorough pass, it had mostly tamed my facial hair. One more pass, adjusting the angle I shaved at, and it had cleaned me up. No trimmer needed! My old shaver never would've managed that! Then I docked it back in the base and hit the clean button. To my surprise, it even blow dried the shaver once the clean cycle was complete! A marked improvement over my old shaver since it'd be damp up to 36 hours after running a clean cycle!

Absolutely a must have for modern men
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After hating electric shavers most of my now long life I have found one that truly works for me. The braun series 8 gives me a superb shave that lasts for 24 hours. No burned, scraped, skin. No rough patches where the razor failed to cut. Even can cut longer hair much better than any other I have used. The beard trimmer works well around the nose and mouth but it is somewhat awkward to use. Having gotten use to it, I think the series 8 is a 5 star electric razor. I am using the cleaning-lubricating system that came with it. That too is exceptional in performance. All of it works for me.

Great at home grooming station
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun series 8 Electric shaver has been a staple in my daily routine since I have received it. Having its own dock makes it a breeze to use every morning. It shaves nice and clean and is also able to reach awkward spots, so shaving time is reduced compared to before. It is kind of bulky though as it takes up a significant amount of counter space. All in all a good shaver for its price.

Great Hair Trimmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster for my honest opinion. I have never tried this type of trimmer. It works very well. Easy to figure out and gets a very close shave. It is a little expensive but should be worth it since you won’t need to buy razor blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used an electric shaver like this before, and while I’m definitely still getting used to it/mastering my technique, I really like it so far. Is it as close a shave as using a blade? No. But does it produce amazingly close and relatively quick results? Yes. Most importantly, it doesn’t seem to overly irritate my incredibly sensitive skin. I’m still getting a few ingrown hairs here and there, but honestly I think that has a lot more to do with the fact that I am still mastering my technique than with the shaver itself. The charging case is incredibly useful, and I also really like the cleaning system, which also helps lubricate the blades. Overall, this shaver has really made me rethink electric shavers.

A lot to like but one gripe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are several things I like about this shaver and something I'm not crazy about. This shaver does a great job at getting a close shave on my face. It even shaves in tight places like between my lips and nose. It holds a long charge and has a nice battery case. It's even easy to clean. I haven't used it wet or with shaving cream/gel, only dry. It doesn't create bumps or irritate my skin like some others I've used. What gripe could I have about it? My only complaint is that it struggles to cut my neck. I have to go over it numerous times and in varying directions, but it still struggles a bit to cut my neck. Other than that, I like it a lot. Unfortunately, that can be a bit of a problem. If it shaved the neck better, I would give it higher marks.

Best Amongst A Crowded Field
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all of the electric shavers I have used, this one is by far the best. It cuts cleanly and precisely wether dry or wet. My skin was left feeling as smooth as if I took a regular razor to it. The self cleaning stand is awesome. The included power travel case insures it always has a charge on the go. Overall, this stands out as an electric shaver I would recommend to any and everyone.

Easy and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the shaver because it comes with so many flexible settings and accommodations. It has a charging stand that allows you to clean the razors with the appropriate solution. It also comes with a travel pack that allows you to protect the razor while you are putting this in the suitcase. Or, worse comes to worse you can always charge it directly. You can use the product when it's dry or wet. I'm not sure if I was supposed to do so, but I still use shaving cream. There is also a tremor in case you have longer hair let your mustache, goatee, or sideburns to clean up. The shaving was quite close, but it could be closer because I had to go back and forth a few times, and it kind of just epilated or pulled a few hairs. Overall, I'm still happy with the product.

Incredible electric shaver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from influenster and have been testing it out for a couple weeks. I've used a couple shavers in my day and primarily use a safety razor or straight razor currently. This is a great shave with no pulling, nicks or cuts. The included razor cleaner is definitely nice and a time saver when your busy. This also came with a powercase that I took with me when I traveled recently. This keeps the razor charged, protected and has a cleaning brush within. The detailer attached to the back is effective and gives nice visibility when precision is required. I would recommend this razor especially with all the accessories it comes with. It feels like a premium product and one I expect to thoroughly enjoy using in the future.
