The technology has come a long way and I couldn't be happier. The PowerCase is unbelievably convenient.

I have had Braun razors for several years. The last one was 700 series and still works after 8 years. Truth be told i use it to shave my head as well. This new 900 shaves it all in half the time. Very happy with the product. Now looking for a good deal on the hair removal system.

I had a older series Braun but it was time to treat myself the the “latest and greatest” and I am impressed with its performance but the on/off switch bezel fell off and it cannot be replaced without taking the shaver apart. It’s about 1 year old and they want me to send the unit to a service center miles away at my expense. A piece of tape holds the bezel on and it’s performance is still the same but the claim of “German Engineering “ is what bugs me the most.

I've been shaving with blades for many years, and finally decided to give the Braun a try and I really like it! It's easy to use, very effective and has some really great features, including the charging case for traveling and the charging/cleaning stand.

My Series 7 died so I needed a new shaver. My Series 7 lasted me about 7-8 years so, naturally, I wanted to get another Braun shaver due to their longevity and ease of use. I figured this time I’d just get the top of the line model. The Series 9 is probably the best I’ve ever used. This model is a much sleeker looking model which is nice. The included travel case is very good. It’s not just a case but an actual battery that can charge your shaver. The shaver works fantastic. Real nice and close shave. It has a free floating head but you can also lock it down if you want. The extra cleaning solution capsules I used for my Series 7 also works in this too. This is quite pricey, no doubt, but I think it’s worth every penny.

Just got this last night. Had a 4-5 day beard. No problem for this. Best shaver ever. Can’t go wrong

I bought this after my previous Series 9 shaver stopped giving me a good shave. I don't remember how long I had the previous one, but it was well over ten years old. This new shaver is quieter, easier to hold, and I do like the recharging case. I travel to Connecticut to see my son a couple times a year and this makes it much easier not having to bring a cord. It is, in my opinion, the best electric shaver around and I look forward to using it at least as long as my previous one. I highly recommend spending the money to buy this one. You won't have to worry about purchasing another electric shaver for a long, long time.

I've been using Braun/Eltron shavers since the 1980's, but in the last several years Braun went to much larger shaving heads which makes it difficult to shave/shave around if you have a beard, goatee, mustache, etc. Plus, the trimmer cutter isn't as good as they used to be either. Hey Braun, here's an idea for you, introduce a classic version like the old 8595 or 7680...you'd sell a boat load of them.

I’ve always been a Gillette gel guy but my son used electric so I thought I’d give this one a try and I couldn’t be more pleased with the truly excellent shave I get with it. So close, so gentle and so fast and easy. Love the cleaning station everyday. What a wonderful product and perfect shaving experience! Get one!

Doesn't shave like series 7

3rd time I switched back to an electric razor. This razor is so much better than the other razors tried. I'm not going back to manual shaving

I purchased this almost a month ago and am very pleased. It replaced a Series 7 that I had about 8 years.

Love everything about it except it takes several passes to pick up some hairs. The case, dock, trimmer, and the razor itself work wonderfully other than that. Very high quality feel. Only other improvement areas I see is noise and if I’m using to shave my head it quickly starts dumping little clumps of hair onto my head. I know, it wasn’t designed for that, however there’s not much up there folks and my old rotary used to easily get the same job done without that issue. Overall—-great upgrade to my old rotary norelco.

I have a Series 9 , almost 2 years old & I loved it , right up until it stopped running ( for NO REASON ) !!! Who can I get in touch with about this ??? I wont post a review for now , or at least not until I see if Braun will do something about it !!!!

I have bought this product. I just realized that it shaves better than the safety razor. This is very shocking. You might have a little bit of razor burn; however, the overall product is great. I recommend buying this product. I'm quite shocked at how good the product is.

I am transitioning and needed a good shaver. I was tired of traditional shaving. It was causing more break outs and not near as close of shave as I wanted. My barber recommended this shaver and this is the BEST ever. I LOVE IT. Thank you for such a great product 😁

I had a Series 9 shaver for several years and passed it down to my son after he tried it a few times. I went to purchase a replacement and found the Series 9 Pro and decided to purchase it due to the portable charger for traveling. I found after recieving it that is shave more comfortably, closer and faster. Not a revolutionary difference but a strong evolutionary improvement. Overall, I say it performs overall another 10% to 20% better than my old Series 9. I'm very happy with this new Series 9 Pro shaver. Thank you from Omaha, NE.

So I had a 7 series since maybe about 2009 and then accidentally left it in a hotel drawer recently and the hotel was absolutely not helpful in trying to get it back (I’m looking at you Mountain Lodge in Telluride - zero stars for customer service) I loved that thing. Reliable shave. Only complaint was the edge trimmer snapped off of it early in its life span which I missed - it was handy! Bad design … anyway so time to upgrade to the latest and greatest 9 series! Here’s what I have learned: The shave is the same in my opinion, not better, not quieter. I was surprised that after reading all the hype 14 years later the shave is just about the same and not quieter. Also same comment can be made about the charging base and cleaning functions- it’s why I only gave 4 stars. The travel case is the size of a shoe and heavy but with the built in battery charging capability I’m impressed. The old case was cheap plastic and also broke. The edge trimmer is back! The design looks like it will not snap off - happy to have it - it’s more handy than anyone seems to say. In fact I find few comments about it and there are zero pictures of it online. I was worried they did away with it entirely. Would I recommend it? If just shaving and not traveling much I would say save your money and buy a lesser model. The shave will be the same and if you don’t care about the fancy (and heavy) travel case or the edge trimmer design then don’t buy the highest price one. Perhaps a lower series will work just fine. Mine did for 14 years and probably would have for longer. Oh and pro tip/hack: if you want to not have your charging base cartridges evaporate before you have used them up I suggest keeping them plastic tab that seals the top and after using it for a clean just slide the cartridge back out and firmly push the tab back into the holes for storage until the next cleaning session. Game changer for how often you have to buy new cartridges.

I had hoped this would be an upgrade to my series 7 but it isn’t particularly for the price. Power case is a joke. Just as easy to carry cord and razor vs bulky case. The instruction manual is all illustrations and no text leaving you to interpret the illustrations with your best guess or to call customer service for every question. I’m unimpressed and find I have to shave a longer time to get a passable result.

Leaves my face feeling as smooth as if I had used a razor. Well engineered, quality product.
