I've used other Briogeo products in the past, but something in this mask did not work well for me and I ended up with an allergic reaction/hives on my scalp and behind my ears. After looking at my other products, I think it was the Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. If you have sensitive skin you might want to take a close look at ingredients!

I'm writing this review, hoping it helps someone before deciding to use. This was used on my already damaged hair at the salon. They told me it would help my hair. It made it so much worse. I could post photos but it's too embarrassing! Please think first. If your hair doesn't respond well to protein don't choose this product. I had to cut my hair short. 6 months later it's still trying to recover.

Real improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 71. I have fine, thinning hair. With most shampoo and conditioning products, my hair is left limp and flyaway. Now, instead of conditioning after shampooing, I use this as an overnight conditioner each time I shampoo, and then rinse it out in the morning. My hair is much improved. I have retsined my narural hair color at my age. This product gives me shine and body I cannot maintain without it.

This was a never again for me
I really wanted to love this product: clean ingredients, easy to use, had great reviews. I tried it in combination with various strengthening shampoos, as well as deep clean shampoos on my long highlighted, dry and slightly textured hair that was exposed to salt, wind, and pool water all summer. I swear it left me with a birds nest of tangles and made it impossible to style afterward! I thought it was maybe due to the curcumstances (hard water? long day of ocean activities?) but tried it twice more when my hair was not so roughed up and same result. When my hair dried it felt stiff and broken ends were not smoothed down. So bummed!

Not great
I was hoping to like this product based on websites reviews however like a lot of people mentioned its not good. Probably a change in formula. Ive had cheaper products work better. This made my hair feel dry and didnt detangle. Also didnt help with repairing

Best for coloured, bleached curls

Leave my hair soft with nice formation of curls, and shiny! I use this twice a month, alternating with the Curl Charisma.

this is one of three Briogio masks I keep in my regular rotation. It is not as moisturizing as the two superfoods options, which are my favorite, but I do really like it. it. It is thick and moisturizing and has plenty of slip to detangle in the shower.

The quality has changed!

I cant say much since its the first wash.. BUT!
I have many damaged curls, and my hair has been thinning. My first impression is that it doesn't produce much lather until you work it into your hair. It also made my hair very soft and added moisture. I'll update once I notice a change.
