Description
Usage Directions: Before use, wash water bottle in top rack of dishwasher or by hand with warm soapy water. Water Bottle filters dont require soaking. Rinse filter under running water for 15 seconds. Place new filter into housing and press down firmly until filter is flush with straw. Align lid and straw in unlocked position, then rotate straw to lock. Replace water filter every 2 months or 40 gallons. When replacing the filter, look for item number 60258 35818, the black Brita Bottle Replacement Filters. Fill your bottle with tap water and enjoy. Substances reduced may not be in all users water.

submitted byBrita - 4 years agoBrand expertA: I have been using this water bottle for a month. This is not correct. This water bottle is not insulated at all. Water that is poured in ice cold will be at room temperature within 2 hours.

Q: Will this filter out impurities? What about when traveling to other countries (e.g. Mexico or Phillipines) where bottled water is recommended?
A: Thanks for asking about our Stainless Steel Premium Filtering Water Bottle! While it works well to filter chlorine (taste & odor) and Class IV particulates from municipally-treated tap water, it doesn't purify water. Q: How do I store the filter for longer periods of time? Possibly 3-6 months. I don’t plan on using this as my primary water bottle. I plan on using it when I don’t have access to my filtered water which is not often.
A: Hello there, Ivette. Thanks for asking. Our Brita Bottle Filters have an indefinite shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place within the original packaging. Once in use, they need to be replaced every two months or 40 gallons. The Brita Bottle filter can also be dried out between uses, and there's no negative impact to doing so. Q: Can you use drink enhancers like crystal light packets with this bottle?
A: Thanks for your interest in our Stainless Steel Premium Filtering Bottle. We’re happy to answer your question about adding flavor to your Brita Bottle. We don’t recommend adding substances to your Brita Bottle. Since the bottle filters water through the straw right before you drink it, the flavoring would probably be removed by the filter and could also clog the filter and make it unusable.
