Q: Does this create distilled water?
A: That's a good question, Lauren. No, our Hub System doesn't make distilled water. Distilled water is completely demineralized and doesn't contain any minerals or salts, while our filtered water is for drinking and still contains a quantity of trace elements and minerals. Q: How lomg does it take for the water to get filtered after filling reservoir? What about concern for bacterial growth with prolonged room temp water? What if tap water is very "hard"- effect on filter?
A: Yes, standing on a counter at room temperature 🌡 would collect bacteria...a big concern
