Q: Is this compatible for hard water?

While our Hub filters do work well to reduce chlorine, lead, mercury, benzene, and particulates from municipally treated tap water, hard water can contain different contaminants, such as calcium and magnesium carbonates, that won't be reduced. During the initial flush, it is normal to have louder than normal sounds coming from our Hub System and will be slightly louder than a single-serve coffee maker. We recommend you continue to press the manual dispense button to purge all of the air out of the system. These sounds shouldn't be present after the initial flush if everything is working properly.     I had this for about a month. I thought it was a cool idea, but it feels and looks cheap. Does the job, but you have to refill it constantly even if you're just one person. None of this is really a deal breaker for me, but what made me return it was that it dripped. After dispensing it would drip for over an hour filling up the catch below the nozzle and then would splash water all over the counter. It began to leave residue after awhile, which might be some sort of calcite. Also, while dispensing it would splash all over the place if you didn't have a tall enough glass. 1 star for everything, but I gave two stars because I guess it dispenses water. Not worth the price at all, just buy a pitcher.

    I bought this product as I liked the convenience of not having to change a filter so often. I changed the filter at the time suggested but the red light would not go out until I tried the suggested holding both 12 and 20 oz buttons for the 3 seconds. It worked! So happy to continue getting filtered water and also knowing when to change the filter again. I suggest that these instructions be included in the paperwork.

    I got this as a gift- not sure where it came from. At first I couldn't get the water to dispense but finally after putting the filter in a couple of times I got the water to transfer. Later that day I cam back to get water and the water flooded all over my countertop. Leaking from the bottom?? cleaned it up and at first it didn't leak but later the next day it flooded again. I cannot figure out where the water is coming from. Definitely from the bottom of the machine. I love the machine but disappointed it keeps leaking.

    Like many others, my chief complaint is that the light doesn’t turn green after installing a new filter. It’s a pain to have to look up the issue and problem solve. Hopefully they will fix this flaw because otherwise we have been happy with it.

    Filter Life Indicator Non-functional

    Bought this product more than a year ago. It is my second time to change filters. 1st one, the filter life indicator did not turn green after changing old filter with new one. Followed instructions carefully and did it several times to no avail. Now the 2nd time, the filter life is still not going green after replacing with new one. QR code on the back panel of machine supposedly for detailed use and care and information does not work. I have the the impression that it is only for “show”.😤😤😤

    I just started using this water filtration system it's very attractive doesn't take up too much counter space and was easy to put together and start using the only thing that concerns me is will it leak because people have complained about leakage and also the filter indicator lights aren't accurate I think it's a lot of money for this system but if it does the job then I guess it's okay not great value but if the water filter is as sophisticated as it says it is then it should be an okay system I like the automatic water control I'll let you know in the future I hope it lasts I haven't had much luck with water filtration systems

    Will NOT transfer water; tried two different units

    Have tried TWO; both had same exact problem. Reservoir is filled, and I can hear pump, but water does NOT transfer and "add water" light comes on. Tried everything I can think of: different water levels in reservoir, changing base position, tugging on hose, reinstalling filter, verifying reservoir valve works. I don't think water is even getting from reservoir to filter as filter nipples are completely dry when I remove.
