Q: Is this compatible for hard water?
A: We're happy to answer that, Yesi. While our Hub filters do work well to reduce chlorine, lead, mercury, benzene, and particulates from municipally treated tap water, hard water can contain different contaminants, such as calcium and magnesium carbonates, that won't be reduced. As long as your water is municipally treated, you can still use our filters to achieve better-tasting water. Please call us if you have more questions at 800-242-7482 and keep 241014-000725 handy. Have a wonderful day. Jeffery from The Brita Team

Q: How much noise does it make when dispensing water?
A: We appreciate you asking about this. During the initial flush, it is normal to have louder than normal sounds coming from our Hub System and will be slightly louder than a single-serve coffee maker. We recommend you continue to press the manual dispense button to purge all of the air out of the system. These sounds shouldn't be present after the initial flush if everything is working properly. Let us know if you have any questions at 800-242-7482 and refer to this number: 240924-000710. Have a hydrated day! Jeffery from The Brita Team
