Q: How do you clean this machine and does the ice stay frozen

A: There are 3 drain plugs in the rear to drain/flush. And no I do not believe it keeps ice frozen. I've had mine for a couple months now and the ice maker cycles often to replace melted ice.

A: I don't think so. Mine cycles regularly 24/7 as ice melts. I keep a bag in my (too small) freezer so I can turn the ice feature off if I want (it is pretty noizy).

A: Somewhat as it comes with a plastic bracket to screw it into the floor to keep it from falling over. How well that would deter a determined attacking Sumo kid is anyone's guess.

A: No but you have to push and hold the hot button for 3 at the same time as the big cup button. Once it starts flowing you can stop pushing the hot button. The hot trickles out ( 1 min to fill my mug)

A: I can't measure but I'd say 6ft. Experts would say NO to extension cord. But they make extra heavy short 10ft or less extension cords for small ac units that work fine with only one device plugged in.

Two months out and it’s not working
good concept, could be a much better product at little more cost. Stronger motors would allow for better, faster dispensing. Stainless steel tanks would eliminate taste issues. Lights over chutes would be nice for nighttime.

I love the built in ice maker as it helps to save the limited space in our kitchen/dining area. Functions are easy to use and the cleaning is pretty simple and straightforward also the price was reasonable. Perfect for our family of 4; however the downfall is how loud it gets when it’s making ice and dropping the ice into the reservoir. The loud thumping/knocking sounds while it processes the ice cycles catch me off guard sometimes and cause me mini hearts breaks.

It was great at first. The water was nice and cold or hot when I needed it to be. The ice was great, although it would tend to come out broken from the dispenser. But now the ice indicating light blinks and won’t dispense any water, hot or cold, or ice. Let’s see if the customer service can help.
