  • A: Thank you for contacting us, GPS. The numbers listed are the ranges for the cold and hot water for any of our dispensers. For example, the cooling function activates when the water temp exceeds 50F and turns off when it reaches around 37F. This is true of all of our dispensers.

  • A: For the hot and cold dispensers, the warning is required for the fiberglass insulation on the outside of the hot tank. California has a warning about fiberglass (glass wool fibers) regarding inhalation and consumption. No part of the insulation comes in contact with water and is not exposed to a consumer unless they attempt to disassemble or otherwise damage the hot water reservoir.

Just have to deal with the issues

There is a plastic-y taste to the water for the first few weeks but it goes away. I was appalled how loud this machine was to pump the water into the tank and refrigeration/heating. Much louder than my last unit that unfortunately broke. I thought it would get better with time but unfortuantely it has gotten worse. It makes lots of annoying vibrating noises when cooling and when it stops the plastic starts to make crackling noises, probably from the heat the unit puts off. Thankfully it isn't cooling all the time so I only have to deal with the noise every once in a while. The compressor turns on less frequently but for longer than when I first bought it, it would turn on more frequently with less time. The cold button sticks but thats ok to deal with. The cold water isn't as cold as I would like it to be. I was going to return the thing but reading other reviews all my gripes seem to be common issues that i'm afraid i'll just get anoter unit with the same problems, and seems all water coolers suffer these same flaws (except my last one that I can't seem to be able to purchase, its rent only through sparkletts) So i'm just going to deal with the noise, try and make it less annoying/rattly. Definately don't put this water cooler in an area you spend a lot of time to avoid the noise.

Worked well at first but now it stopped working! We have to fiddle with the cord that pumps the water from the bottle Into the unit in order for it to work! It’s so annoying you have to position the cord perfectly for the water to be taken out.

It was good while it lasted but it did not even make it to a year, water is not coming out so most of the time I have to unplug it to maybe thaw it out but even the hot and the middle button for water won’t even come out. And now it’s leaking water at the bottom. There is water all over my floor. This is not worth the price. Money down the drain! I’m really disappointed in this water dispenser.

Works okay, but it's so LOUD!

I bought this unit two months ago to replace one that used gravity to dispense with the bottle upside down on top of the unit. That one had issues with leaking. This one is incredibly noisy when dispensing water. It doesn't leak, though, which is a big advantage over the last one! I just wonder if the noise is a harbinger of it breaking soon... Time will tell!

Thank you for your feedback, Mmm. Our dispensers with the hot, cold, and cool (room temperature) features have two reservoirs; hot and cold. The hot has its own reservoir but the cool(room temperature) and the cold share one single reservoir. The cool(room temperature) comes from the top of the reservoir and the cold comes from the bottom. There is only a slight temperature difference between the two. We do not offer a hot cold and room temperature dispenser with separate reservoirs at this time.

It worked good for a hot minute and than stopped working. It stopped despensing water. So I read a couple of reviews and said it freezes. I unplugged it and did what it said worked once and than stopped again.

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you have not tried it, turn off switches on the back and unplug your machine(UNLESS YOU HAVE MODEL 601242 or 601264). While the machine is turned off , dispense about 4 cups of water from the cold dispenser. Then, plug the machine back on and turn on only the green switch. Allow one hour for the unit to cool the water before checking the temperature. Please contact us at social@primowater.com if this does not fix the issue.

It was used. As soon as I unload it from my car it was dripping water and once I opened it my kitchen was flooded with so much water. It was also very dirty. Today was the 1st day I bought it. I did NOT know it was used. Now I returning it on the same day. Wasted my time!
