Some noise from a microwave oven is perfectly normal. Humming: Comes from the magnetron and cooling fan. Whirring: Caused by the turntable motor or fan spinning. Clicking: Happens when relays switch on/off or the turntable engages.

It's a nice size and has a lot of power. I didn't realize that there is a law requiring manufacturers to install the childproof lock, which is annoying, but you can disable it. The other annoyances are: it is extremely loud, and it has a reminder alarm, which I've not found a way to disable. After your food is done, you have to hit the stop button, or it will sound the alarm after a few minutes. So, if you're making popcorn or heating up pizza, make sure you can pause the game or movie. Otherwise, it will wake up your roommates and / or kids! I'm thinking of returning it.

Like-Great support received from Customer Service Representative, she took the initiative to see pickup didn't have the correct item in back room so she went to the floor to get the right one and then helped me put in the car. Dislike-child safety lock is not necessary, but I just looked at the price. (I suggest you pay attention)
