Brookstone Heated Pattern Blanket

Great heated blanket for the price. I’m not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from but this blanket heats up nicely and is nicer than some of the heated throw blankets I’ve had before.

it's soft and warm it's perfect

I was skeptical reading the reviews for this blanket. I think people are expecting it to get really hot like a heating pad but it’s meant to be used as a blanket, on your body for prolonged periods. It’s saved me and my husband several times this winter when our heat has broken. I like to “preheat” our bed an hour before climbing in lol It’s very warm, soft and comfortable. Makes you not want to get out of bed in the mornings.

I purchased the twin blanket on Black Friday. Within five days, an error message was popping up on the controller. Target graciously let me exchange for another. I’ve had the replacement for a week, and today the same error message started with it. I’m disappointed because I really need the extra warmth in the winter.

What isn't clear in the pictures is that King with dual controls also has an outlet cord on each side, which is incredibly inconvenient to not only have to find an outlet on one side of your bed or couch, but on the other as well. Good luck. It also makes it that much harder to make the bed with both sides plugged in. Absolutely terrible design. Also, the box has a cutout so you can "feel the softness" so if you get the white one, expect the exposed part to be filthy from either the conveyor belt at checkout or the warehouse from shipping.

This blanket is my cuddle buddy, my pride and joy, my significant other, my beloved. When I say I hate the cold, I mean I'd rather do anything other unpleasant thing than be cold, so this blanket is my absolute favorite thing in the world. It has a convenient box with multiple levels that you can boost the heat and a timer setting as well if you're planning on using it at bedtime. The really neat thing about this is that the blanket itself does not get hot to the touch but the little coils inside get warm and hold the warmth in. It's really so extremely comfortable and cozy in the chilly evenings. Worth every single penny.

Only half of the twin size gets heated.

This blanket is very lightweight. Perfect for many people but I need weight along with warmth to sleep comfortably.
