Brookstone Heated Blanket

I wanted to love it but it doesn’t get very warm like others I’ve had! If you like just a subtle warmth then this is for you!

Stopped working after one day.

It lasted two weeks. The first time I washed it, it stopped working. Definitely not worth $100.

I love that it is dual sided so my husband can have his side cooler. I love it to be warm and cozy at night. The color is beautiful, this blanket heats up great and night is hot!!! Love that it has a timer, so if I forget to shut it off it shuts off its self.

Don’t waste your money. I’ve already had three blankets that stopped working. They only last one winter, and once you wash them, they stop working right away.

it's like the third time I am using it and it's already not heating up. It's barely warm on a setting of 10. I paid $50 for this blanket and will be returning it promptly in ths morning. I am freezing as we speak. The button one was better in my experience though it stopped properly heating fully after about a month. Not much look with the electric blankets, but the one with the button versus ths controls did do a much better job at warming me up in my experience; that one also had extra heating in the feet region. I am going back for that one in the AM. The button one is also nice and thick/cozy. I recommend stay away from this one. It's also very thin, not warm, and not comfortable. All around thumbs down.

Excellent blanket. It’s my second Brookstone electric blanket. Wore out the first one. This has much better controls. Same design, but is improved.

I purchased 2 twin blankets in dark grey. The fabric is soft and silky. Te blanket is very thin and lightweight. The heating wires are rather thick and stiff by comparison, and are quite noticeable through the blanket. The wires do not extend throughout the blanket. Instead they stop about 12" from the edges, meaning only the area in the middle of the blanket (about the size of the surface of the mattress) will become warm. this feels like a cost and quality cutting measure. The blankets were quite overpriced for the quality. I would have chosen something nicer if any were available. Let's hope they heat up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this blanket the quality is definitely there There is no shedding, ni fading at all. Its easy to clean and wash. Like the wight of it. Makes me feel safe since I have anxiety. And the warmth level is high. But one of the outlet burned one of my cables of the blanket.

The blanket had been used and put back in the box. Pieces were missing and no directions.

I guess it would be ok on a bed, but I have it on high and I don’t feel like it’s that warm. I can’t feel the wires as much which is a big plus but if I move my feet around it doesn’t even feel warm all over

Barely heats up! The heat has been on high for an hour now and it feels like it's barely on. Don't waste your money.

Great blanket! Have a throw and decided on this for the bed. Does get pretty warm through the night so set the timer for about two hours and it’s perfect.

Overall, this blanket is comfortable, soft, and warm. It has 2 cords on the queen size; one for controlling each “side” of the blanket as it is presumed two people are sharing the blanket. It does warm up quickly and the controllers do light up, which makes it easy to find and adjust in the dark, if necessary. However, I had to rate it only four stars as the description states that the blanket I purchased is gray, the box states it is gray and it looks a lot more blue than it does gray. So if you were looking for something that is truly gray, this blanket does not look gray. I have no other complaints at this point.

It is very thin and you can feel the wires inside. Also it didn't heat evenly and would just stop heating altogether. I had to return it and get something from somewhere else.

My best friend is so happy with this blanket.

I bought the heated throw from Brookstone and absolutely fell in love. I used that thing all the time, my husband was jealous he didn't have coverage so he bought us this one, thinking it would be an upgrade. Unfortunately that was not the case. The throw has 4 heat settings (4 being the highest) and I usually have it on 3. This king size heated blanket I put on setting 10 and it just doesn't compare. It is warm, but not as much as I'd like. Also seems to heat very unevenly.
