Wonderful toddler cup!
I love this water bottle! My new favorite for the toddler. I appreciate the metal straw and that it’s detachable for cleaning. It can be spilled intentionally but once it’s closed we haven’t had any leaks (but to be fair it isn’t dropped often). We’ve had two of these for the last 3 months and they’re holding up very well. Holds ice for hours, even in the hot car.

Broke
I have purchased two of these cups, both broke within 3 months. The part that keeps breaking is the plastic piece on the lid that the straw clicks into. I really like the cup, but will not be buying anymore due to the fact that the same piece keeps breaking.

Warranty - no good
Have used this cup maybe 3 times. The straw holder on the lid is easy to break off and is not replaceable. My first brumate item to purchase and will NEVER purchase again. I emailed to get a replacement lid since the cups have a lifetime warranty. They would not replace the lid. They said I needed a receipt from July, which I don’t have. There is not an option to purchase the child’s lid separately. I will have to purchase an entire new cup.

Beautiful cup, and I love that it has a stainless steel straw on interior and silicone on the exterior. Unfortunately, one week in and we have a major dent. The thickness of the cup feels less substantial than my son’s Owala or Hydroflask. Bummer!

NOT LEAK PROOF
this cup is advertised as 100% leak proof. it is not 100% leak proof, but mearly 50% leak proof. it is only leak proof when the cup is in a locked position. once changed to an unlocked position so your child can drink from it, it is not leak proof. so as soon as your kid turns the cup upside down them and the entire car seat are soaking wet and they are now out of water.

Bittersweet.
Love brumate. I have different ones. Along with my friends and family members and they have shared it their friends. BUT! I thought this was going to be improved. I have the other kids brumate and it never lock. Not good. This one I love but I can’t give it to my grandson because he’s going to be 2 and well boys in general don’t pay attention and it’s all over. Especially in the car. At home I just give him a different one. I do take it with me when we are out because it keeps his drinks cold and I can switch out but my 6 year old niece loves matching her mama and Aunties.
