Love brumate. I have different ones. Along with my friends and family members and they have shared it their friends. BUT! I thought this was going to be improved. I have the other kids brumate and it never lock. Not good. This one I love but I can’t give it to my grandson because he’s going to be 2 and well boys in general don’t pay attention and it’s all over. Especially in the car. At home I just give him a different one. I do take it with me when we are out because it keeps his drinks cold and I can switch out but my 6 year old niece loves matching her mama and Aunties.

Not an appropriate cup for a toddler unless they can understand how to lock/unlock the cup. It is not spill proof at all when the straw is unlocked. Very disappointing, as I bought it for my toddler to take to school, and it is a very expensive cup to not be spill proof.

The only thing you have to pay attention to is closing the lids so they’re don’t spill if they tip over. But as long as you close them they’re solid. My son accidentally broke the inside of the top lid where the straw turns into and as a one time thing Brumate replaced the entire cup with the engraving which I thought was super generous. So all in all great cup!

I paid extra for the personalized text. The only problem is I can barely find his name on the cup. My grandson is not happy at all with this cup and neither is his Nana.

I love this cup otherwise, it’s for my 16 month old who is obsessed with my 40oz brumate cup.

He loves ice cold water and this keeps it cold. Also he throws things so the sleeve is a great feature too! And the lock is perfect for on the go. It’s also easy enough for him to do himself.
