Won’t foam at all anymore
I’ve been using Califia oat milk for years. The last 4 cartons of the oat milk barista blend haven’t foamed at all. My frother works for other milks— whole milk, semi skimmed, other oat milk brands, coconut milk, almond milk, etc. I am not sure what has changed with Califia, but it doesn’t foam at all. It’s just a watery, thin addition to my morning espresso now.

Iced Matcha Latte Approved!
I've tested many brands of oat milks for my iced matcha lattes and I personally find this to be the best one out of my top 2 (Minor Figures Organic Oat is a close 2nd). I prefer an oat milk where the matcha shines through and the oat taste isnt overpowering. This is it for me. I am mainly an iced matcha latte drinker so can't really say how it is steamed or if it foams well.

Fanatstic Barista Oat Milk!
This is my favorite oat milk barista style. It has to be barista style for the froth to work and this works! It tastes great as well which is a bonus. It’s smooth oat taste. I don’t like the full oat branny taste and this doesn’t have it so I’m very happy to have found this.

Product not dissolving in espresso
I bought this product as a milk substitute for my AM espresso. When I added the product to my hot espresso, it separated and made little clumps of oat mile and didn't mix at all. Taste was ok, so 2 stars for that. Maybe I did something wrong? Expiration date on product is Jan 2026.

Not the Same
I've used Califia Oat Barista Blend for so long. I've noticed that something changed. Def could see the oil used in the product in my coffee now. It used to be creamy, but it is no longer that. Very disappointed in the change in the recipe.

Froth
The oat Barista would not froth for me. I have been frothing others for quite a while and decided to try this. Tried on different occasions and would not froth. Very disappointed. Don’t mind spending the money on a good product but would not froth. Expiry is November 2025.

I have been using this stuff for a few years, and loved it. At some point, I tried a case of the "organic" stuff thinking that organic == better, but had to give it away due to the "play-dough" flavor. The last case of the blue label (sept 2025) now has the "play-dough" flavor, although not as strong. 😿 While I hope that the answer is, "we had a QC issue, and this is only temporary", I have a feeling it's not. Unfortunately, it's barely drinkable, and now I must find a different brand of oat milk. 😿😿😿 Open to recommendations.

Good flavor, does NOT froth
I really enjoy the taste of this. Unfortunately, I like to froth my milk and this did not froth at all. At first I thought my frother was broke but when I tried it again with other milks it was fine. I’ve done about 5 tests and I’m sorry to say this milk is the culprit. I’m going to try barista blends from other brands to see if I can find a better one.

I’ve been looking for a non dairy creamer that is as creamy and rich as half and half. I think I’ve tried them all and this is the one that satisfies! It’s rich, creamy, not grainy. Now I can make my oatmilk latte at home and it tastes just like from the coffee shop.

I have used a nespresso frother for about 10 years and typically use Earths Own barista oat and a couple others. Tried this to see how it would go and it doesn’t froth or be little bit. Comes out of the grow the the same as it went in. Can’t blame the frother as it’s been consistent with other brands for years. Won’t be buying this ever again.
