Q: The game I purchased did not have a spinner, it had cards with color squares.

I was excited to play candyland with my kids, and Thai was a disappointment. The game is so small and cheap. A game seriously takes about 5 minutes because the board is small. This is not at all the game I played as a kid. I would be willing to pay more for a game that was worth playing.

Extremely cheap and poor quality and very small size. The cards are literally paper, not even card stock, with very few cards, less than half than should be included. The board is small and images are crammed. This feels like a knockoff board game, not classic.

The quality of this is actually a joke. I have a candyland from childhood that STILL is in good shape and quality. The cards are so thin and flimsy and you have to pop them out yourselves. The characters are bizarre and not the original.Where is Princess Frostine? Gloppy the Chocolate Monster? Princess LOLLY? This new version is horrible

Candy land is so fun! Easy for little ones to understand. My 3 and 4 year old love it. The cards are paper and easily get bent and ruined but for the most part it’s great!

The game still functions as “classic” candy land but the characters are much more human and less fun and worse the quality of the actual board and cards is abysmal. The cards are made from a thin material that you must pop out from the page yourself (leaving notches and sometimes tears on the cards) and the board ripped in half just from the pressure of playing a single game. I am so disappointed. Save your money and buy an older version from eBay.

I bought this for my three-year-old for Christmas and was so disappointed in the quality. Everything feels flimsy and cheap. Even the art looks cheap. We also we're gifted a copy of chutes and ladders, and if anything it was even worse. I don't think I will be purchasing any Hasbro games again.

Firstly, I didn't receive the version that was pictured in the description. If someone isn't familiar with the OG version, they may enjoy this but this isn't the nostalgia I was hoping for. These characters are too modernized and "cool." These new characters are definitely not the familiar Grandma Nutt, Princess Lolly, Plumpy, etc.! On top of that, this game feels very cheaply made, granted I got it for cheap. Anyway, Target has a great return policy and made it right!

I ordered this to replace our original game after the board ripped. I received a completely different version than the one pictured. When I scanned the barcode on the one I received it showed in the app as the old version so they are completely misadvertising this game. Had to return since my daughter’s favorite character is now missing.

We needed to replace our original version of this game and they only have the newest version with completely different characters. My kid's favorite character was the liccorice guy but he's gone now? Why are they changing the look of every game now? And the board has changed too, the plastic gingerbread characters are laughably thin and flimsy, they feel like bread bag tabs. The cards are the thinnest cardboard that will not last more than a few months, I'm certain. So much for nostalgia when everything has changed.
