Small Capiz Decorative Box - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This octagon-shaped Capiz decorative box is very shiny and pretty. It is delicate, with a tight-fitting lid, so it might be better for storage of items that you don't use on a daily basis or just use the box as a decorative item. The white mother-of-pearl color would especially look great with a cottage decor but is also neutral enough to fit in with any decor style.

I love the slight shine to these boxes. I was aware that they were a smaller size than previous box decor from the line, so I was not surprised, but I do with they were bigger, these aren’t useful for much other than trinkets, but make for interesting decor on a shelf. The shine adds character past a flat white box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design of this elegant looking capiz decorative box! I was a bit disappointed on the quality. The inside feels more like cardboard wrapped in a linen & the outside seems like it would crack easily since it feels like cheap plastic. I really wanted to keep this for my jewelry for the look but I’m just not sure if it would last long. For the design I recommend but not for the quality & price. I still love this item & would recommend overall if someone is looking for a decorative box on display & not used as much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this decorative little box online for my home. This white resin rectangle box looks like it is made from mother of pearl. It is opalescent and very shiny. Inside, the box is smooth and can hold any little trinket. This would make a great jewelry box. Currently, I am using it to hold all of our car keys when we walk into the house so they are all in one place. The box is pretty enough to be used just for decorating. It's about 3x6 inches and 4 inches deep. This was reasonably priced and I may also get the larger size to stack them together.

This is good for me to remember to put it on the next day. The quality of this box is really nice. The only thing I didn’t love is that the lid is a little hard to get off. Otherwise it’s great!

Not well made

first off these arrived extremely well packaged. I appreciate the shape of the boxes not being just squared. The linen inside and on the bottom is good material and the capiz has a lovely shimmer. I’m quite happy with the size and being able to stack. Yes, the price maybe a little high but I feel that they are elevated by the shape and materials. However, mine will be sitting on a shelf not given daily use. I don’t think I can recommend that, just as the large tray arrived broken despite being well packaged. I think the inside is some sort of cardboard.

Not what I expected . First of all, the size difference between the other studio McGee boxes I have are insane . The quality really isn’t there . Very light and feels cheap . The design doesn’t really look like the picture … it just looks cheaper … will probably return these . For the price , I can go to Marshall’s and homegoods and find a real marble look . These multi billion dollar companies are shrinking and lowering the quality while charging us more . Pretty lame studio McGee .

Ordered these online and they look really yellow in person and very cheap. I would not recommend and not worth the price.
