Not a Good Replacement for Monoi Spray
The Goddess Strength Leave-In was the suggested replacement for the Monoi Repairing Anti- Breakage Spray. But it doesn't compare to the Monoi spray. My hair felt sticky and unclean after using and the smell is so unpleasant and overwhelming. One day after using, I had to wash it out because it caused my scalp to itch and I could no longer stand the smell. So my search continues for a replacement for the Monoi anti-breakage spray.

Doesn't smell good.
I bought the Goddess Strength Leave in Balm and I thought it had a different smell at one time. The smell of this is terrible. As far as being moisturizing it seems to be OK. Time will tell how good it is for my hair. But the smell is very unpleasant. I think it's the ginger.

Can’t get past the scent
I can’t tell if this works because the scent was so unpleasant to me I could barely use it. I am looking for a replacement for the almond milk leave in conditioner which was THE BEST. Unfortunately I am still looking.

SMELL

I COUDN'T GET PAST THE SMELL on the Goddess Strength Divine Strength Leave In Milk. The smell was very strong. I was scared that I would be smelling like a septic tank if I used the product.

It was too light for my hair. It may worker better for people with loose textures. My hair is very thick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn’t bad at all but I’m not sure I love it enough to purchase again. I think the main issue is the Jamaican castor oil smell. It’s just not a favorite smell for me and I can definitely smell it when sprayed on my hair. But softening qualities are on point - helps me detangle prior to blow drying.

Good product, Smells Bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Goddess Strength Divine Strength Leave in Milk is a convenient spray in leave in milk to refresh the moisture in your hair when needed. I love that it has a spray bottle application because I have dreadlocks and it is easy to get in between them easily. The product does not leave residue when applied to my hair. It leaves my hair moisturized throughout the day and the next days to come. I love that it is made with a vegan formula including no parables, no petrolatum, no mineral oil, and no artificial colors. However, the smell is quite unbearable for me to continue to use it. It is made with black cumin seed and ginger, and I believe it's the smell of the black cumin seed that gives off a bad smell. Overall it is a good product to retain moisture, but they could change the formula to have a better smell.

Bad smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spray the leave in milk in my hair while it was wet. The first thing I noticed was the spicy smell that I did not care for at all. I had only sprayed it on 5he back of my hair but that was enough for me not to like. It did leave my hair soft and easy to comb through with a comb and then a hair dryer to dry it into style

Makes my hair so soft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed this product in my hair before brushing it and it made my hair very soft and hydrated without weighing it down. Then came the smell. I looked at the ingredients because I couldn’t understand why it had a musk. The smell isn’t horrible it’s very different than most hair care products that usually smell like coconuts or she’s butter. This smelled herbal and musk like. I had to was my hair because I didn’t like it.

Not a fan of the smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of hair products is pretty important. Sometimes that’s the first thing ppl smell if they approach you. And you smell it all day. Not sure if it’s the ginger or what but I’m not a fan. Thankfully by the next day I didn’t notice it. I like the fine mist that it puts out. It’s VERY water based. So you absolutely want to use this on damp hair; then blow dry, stretch or air dry. It’s so lightweight that I don’t feel like it’s providing tons of protection so I would definitely apply some silicones before thermal styling (flat iron). My hair didn’t flake when I used this. So that’s good. Overall, it doesn’t seem like much extra. But it sounds like some nourishing ingredients were used.

May not be for my texture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the leave in milk after cleansing my hair so that I could get the best results. There are not many products that are useful for my hair texture. I am a 4c hair type, my children are type 2 and 3. When applied to my hair, it left a brittle feeling. It didn't do the same thing on my daughter's hair. It didn't provide a much moisture as I would like, so I will try it again with shampoo and conditioner if the same brand. I think that it may be more effective if used within its product line.

Considering it is a product for women, I would expect it to have a nice distinct scent.. such as fruity, floral, or likewise. I don't know if I would purchase it too often for that reason.

Nice scent

I wish it was more like a cream for my curls so I’d know they were hydrated. I suppose if you have a looser curl pattern this may be a good product for you. I have 3c-4a hair and do not recommend.

Not sure it did anything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have type 3B/4A hair and tried this product. The smell is so strong, and honestly not the best scent. My husband even commented asking if I tried some new perfume. Secondly, I just done think it did much. After a wash, deep conditioning, and detangling, I sprayed this generously on my damp hair and noticed nothing. My hair didn’t feel moisturized even after it dried.

Okay product.

Must my curly 4B feel extra heavy a mushy. Probably work well for hair types but not on my own hair. I would recommend this products to other hair types. What do not work for my hair, might work good for others.
