I lovelovelove the way Goddess Strength 💪 makes my hair feel, but after a few bottles of conditioner, I couldn't take the scent anymore. I'm a fragrance-free, dye-free laundry person; I'm allergic to most perfumes; and I'm allergic to gluten/grains, soy and, y'know, air. 😒 After trying an Aisle 31 brand I will not mention, I'm back to Carol's Daughter. I had to put a LOT of this black vanilla conditioner on my hair, but that could just be an indication of what the other brand did to my hair. I let it soak in while I showered and shaved, and this turned from a 1-star review to a 5-star review. My thick hair is super soft and shiny after being blow dried. Glad I gave this a try.

Absolutely terrible! This product made my hair extremely dry and felt like straw. Never again will I be buying anything Carol’s Daughter. I will be going back to Amika immediately!

Good quality. I just don’t think it was quite right for my hair. Left my hair feeling a little heavier. Good for my curls, but I didn’t love the texture it left behind.

So i had high hopes for this product and was unfortunately let down. Its really difficult to find a decent shampoo for my hair in my area and found this line at my grocery store so i thought to try it. I have relatively sensitive skin and a friend of mine used to use this a few years back and so i thought why not since she has plenty of skin issues and it seemed to worked for her before she found something more expensive that she preferred. The first time i used it, it wasnt so bad. Not the best ive tried but it smelled pretty good besides a weird acrylic smell thats not so noticeable and the shampoo felt nice in my hair at first. The conditioner however didnt help at all. It dried my hair out really bad and for the past month since using it im so staticky because of the dryness my hair is a floating halo constantly. I look like i stuck my finger in an outlet! Everything i touch shocks me and only when i use these products. My scalp is horrible too. Dandruff doesnt begin to describe it, i have black pillow cases and when i wake up theres so much flakes its like im sleeping in powder and my scalp is so incredibly raw and sticky. Painful and itchy. And i double checked for allergies, went to my doctor about it and my allergies havent changed so it has to be the formula since none of the ingredients im allergic to. I even changed my shower filter just in case and zero difference at all. I called her after not talking for years to ask and she said the formula change which is why she switched. The pump on the bottles hardly work too its so hard to pump. I usually end my showers with a little bit of oil from this brand which usually did the trick to soothe my scalp and not even that will help. I have little bald patches from lost hair since using this and the more i use it the worse it gets. If you have sensitive skin i wouldnt recommend this at all. You get the same results from dollar store conditioner.. if not better. At least when i stopped using it the big scabs started to heal and the rawness went away a little bit but my hair is so brittle now. What a shame.

The target product description is incorrect, it says silicone free but it is not. The vanilla smell is also a very strong/artificial scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the smell and feel of this conditioner. But for my hair, it just wasn’t what I wanted. My hair is prone to fairy knots and I felt that this didn’t have enough slip to help me get through them with ease.

I'm a little confused why the front of the bottle says No silicones but you turn it over and read the ingredients and it has multiple silicones in it like the first few ingredients are silicones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that they forgot to add the moisture in this line. Like where is the sip? Yes, it smells good but that’s it. I admit it’s a step up from the shampoo.

I used to rely on this brand for sulfate-free shampoo and silicone-free conditioner. Seems like *most* of the shampoos are still sulfate-free, but this conditioner has changed formula to inckude silicone. Le sigh. Their coco quench formula is still silicone-free, for anyone who’s in the same boat

Most conditioners seem to cost my hair or not do much. But this one actually deeply moisturizes. Keep in mind it’s protein and silicone free, which is great for my hair. It has left my hair silky smooth and build up free (also SUPER shiny) I have thick, dry hair that has a small amount of wave.

So I’ve been useing this product for a couple months it was the best formula I couldn’t find and I loved it well now the formula is different and it’s not what it used to be before you guys launched the little mermaid ones please go back to that formula

Excellent detangler, love the fragrance, keeps my curly hair soft
