Q: The lamp description says Turquoise but the picture looks like a blue lamp- which is it ??

A: HI Garbo, Thanks for your question! This table lamp has a handpainted glaze finish over the ceramic base, meaning each piece is unique with slight variations since it depends on the glazing techniques and kiln firings. We try to keep it as consistent as possible, however with glaze chemistry and thickness/viscosity of glaze, it warrants the disclaimer. The lamp is turquoise blue, but depending on the factors mentioned as well as natural light in the room where it's place along with the tone of lightbulb you use (warm vs. cool) the color can vary slightly. We photographed this in our studio with no natural light and under cool toned lights for context. Hope that helps

The lamp is beautiful, although additional pictures would have been helpful. There’s a finial I wasn’t expecting. It’s a bit oversized, wood, and is the same color as the base. I’m not particularly fond of it, but I can always change out the finial. Also, don’t believe the title as it does NOT include the light bulb.
