We recommend applying your moisturizer cream first and then once that product has fully absorbed apply the CeraVe 100% Minteral Tinted Face Sunscreen. If your skin is on the oilier side, it may not be necessary to pair this sunscreen with a moisturizer as it can be very hydrating. I LOVE this tinted mineral sunscreen! However, I think you need to fall within a specific skin tone/type for this to work and look the best. Personally, I find it blends perfectly into my light tan skin tone and looks so natural with no oxidation throughout the day. Since I have very dry skin the hydration doesn’t feel heavy or oily. It dries down to a semi-matte and I haven’t had any issues with it transferring majorly onto anything. I think I finally found my go-to sunscreen!

This is anything but sheer. This globs out of the tube and looks thick like foundation. And this color does not match my skin tone, which is fair/light. I have even mixed it with my regular moisturizer, which did not seem to help. I would never buy this again, and I would not recommend it to anybody.

I can smell the minerals in this. I wanted to use it as a foundation that also had sunscreen, but didn’t really notice the tint once rubbed in. It does smell like minerals at first which bugged me, but my mom hardly noticed it when she tried it.

Not horrible but not for me. The tint was fine but the formula never really dried down. I felt like I could never really touch my face or else it would be all over my hands and everything I touched. It also really made my pores look huge. Just not a fan on how it made my face look. Returned item.

Not for all skin shades, warm tones only, this does have an orange tint. Looks fine when I blend it out and cover my cool toned skin but you can tell its not a natural color AND it is a lil bit greasy

i love cerave!! although i am a big fan of all products, and all have works phenomenally on me. this one, however, wasn’t for me. as i’ve seen in some advertising is claims how it “blends seamlessly into skin”. after many uses, it just didn’t work out. i tried many ways to work around it, such as adding less to my face, different ways of application, but it didn’t work out. although i wouldn’t recommend this product, i would really recommend others!

Love this! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my skin since I’ve started using it. Love that on no-makeup days I can wear this by itself and my face looks great. I compare the feel and consistency of this to ILIA super serum skin tint. The only drawbacks? This product is perfect for more dry skin as it can feel oily on the face. It also leaves marks on clothes, be sure to apply after getting dressed.

Very dark, shows up as an orange/medium-tan on light Caucasian skin tones. Okay when mixed with white zinc mineral sunscreen, which is good if you're needing a physical gentle SPF for post-procedures, or just prefer physical SPF for health and environmental benefits.

I've used this for a few months. my face is so greasy after a few hours of applying it. the tint has a yellowish tint, not pink, like my skin tone. and it only comes in one shade.

I absolutely loveee this product! I usually stay away from tinted SPF’s due to them oxidizing but when I saw a video on this product I just had to give it a try! This product has a sheer coverage and gives such a nice glow to the face, I honestly have reached for it more than any of my sheer foundations! Definitely a must have!

This tinted sunscreen blends into my skin so well. It is so lightweight. I used it on my face at Disneyland and LA and I did not get any sunburn. Works great for me! Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable tinted sunscreen. For reference I have very light skin.

Reviews are misleading on this product. Was told that the tint blends in well with all skin tones and it made me look orange. It was recommended to me that it wasn't going to leave my skin oily and after putting it on my skin instantly felt oily and greasy.

I love this face sunscreen, but make sure you apply it sparingly because a little will go a long way. It takes a few minutes for the color to blend with my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it matched. I was a little orange the first time I used it because I used way too much. I suggest using at most a dime size amount, if not less, when applying.

Not sure why I thought “sheer tint” meant it wouldn’t be bright orange. It’s so bad, I’ve tried mixing (with other mineral sunscreen with similar actives) and it’s just bad. I suppose if you’re already orange-ish this is good? It’s very shiny / greasy feeling.
