this is a great facial cleanser. as someone who has been dealing with acne for almost a decade, i have tried so many different cleansers and none work for me as well as this one does. it doesn't irritate or dry out my skin and i feel like my skin always feel softer after using it. switching to this cleanser is exactly what my skin needed.

I was a religious buyer of this face wash until they changed the formula. Now it is awful. It's watery and slips right off my hands when I apply it, so I can't even tell if I'm just scrubbing water onto my face or the facewash. It has led to more breakouts whereas with the old formula, I rarely ever broke out. Will be buying another product from now on.

I struggle with acne, mostly white heads. This has made my skin dry, but the acne no better. My brother recommended it because it works for him. Really just depends on the issue or skin type I guess. I have skin is sensitive and easily changed to oily (more acne) or dry by products. This one went on the dry direction.

I knew I wasn't crazy!! I've been using this face wash since I was 17, and I'm 31 now. WHY on earth would you change something so perfect?? Even the texture of the facewash is different now! Although I'm not having the same experience as others (breaking out/hives, flakey skin, chemical smell) I will say it feels like I have to use double the product to wash my face, and it doesn't feel like it's truly cleaning my face either. I'll continue to use it as it does *eventually* leave my face feeling clean, but not sure if I'll buy another bottle after this. Hate to switch after years of loyalty!

I was previously a huge cera-ve fan and used that for years with no problem. However, recently i found the foaming cleanser was too harsh and the gentle cleanser wasnt cutting it at all. i find this cleanser is the perfect in between, my skin has been able to recover and i get barely any redness now. ive also started using the lotion as well and i love that too! great experience with this brand all around

I liked that this is fragrance free, it's awesome. I don't feel it cleanses enough to be formulated for oily skin, though. I don't see that it controls oil very much, but I feel after time it helps. The formula is very runny. I like to wet my face, but keep it a bit damp then use only a pump of it. I think this is great, though. It will not 100% improve your acne in a week, but give it time. It takes time to let the skin repair itself. I like that this is SUPER GENTLE! My nose doesn't get tight, it leaves the skin clean, but not stripped dry. I use the original cetaphil and wipe off with a rag in the morning, but at night I use this after a long delay of working outside. Neither me, nor my daughter wear makeup. I live this product and think cetaphil did a GREAT job with this!

I, for obvious reasons, have sensitive skin and Cetaphil was great for reducing acne, and dry and oily skin on my face. But after using the product, I realized they changed some of their ingredients and my face turned red, feeling like I got a sunburn. Very disappointed with the new change and hope they go back to the original.
