A: Hi, Iris. Thank you for your question! The 16 oz jar of Cetaphil® Soothing Gel Cream includes a clear tamper evident flap that is an extension of the label onto the lid. This flap should be intact and separate when the lid is removed. There is no additional seal on the tube or the packaging of the 8 oz or 3 oz tube, other than the flip cap. Thank you!

I have been using this product as a facial moisturizer for years. It is the only one I’ve found that prevents dry skin for me. My previous moisturizer from another brand was discontinued, and someone recommended I try this one. I have tried it on my hands, and I wouldn’t personally recommend it as a hand cream. It does have a sticky, greasy feeling for that use. However, for my face it’s perfect…especially for winter! Like other reviewers, I do wish it was offered in a smaller tube…if nothing else than for travel purposes. I am jealous of these pictures of the 3 oz. samples people received when it was new. The tub takes up quite a bit of room. It’s definitely not convenient to tote the it around when traveling or also having to find something else smaller to put it in. However, the tub is definitely a good value for the amount you get!

Best after shave lotion. Using witch hazel after shaving followed by this lotion has eliminated the razor burn on my legs completely. Also have used on kids’ skin to soothe sunburn and bug bites.

I was trying to find a cream that compared to the Cerave SA cream because I am trying to save some money. It is definitely more runny but nevertheless gave me the same results I was looking for. The thing about Cerave is that it gave me a protective barrier which is why it made my skin feel soft. But with the Cetaphil itself dosen't coat my skin, instead it hydrates and uses my own skin to get that same exact feeling. Also this Cetaphil cream beats any normal lotions out there which I am trying to avoid for my super dry skin.

I liked this moisturizer the first couple of times I tried it. It felt cooling, hydrating, and nice on the skin. The texture was quite watery. However, it has started to burn my skin and give me immediate bumps all over my face with redness after application. For reference, I have dry, sensitive skin. I have been mostly using cetaphil products the last few years as both cerave and vanicream cause issues. Specifically, cerave burns and leaves my face tight and dry. Vanicream makes my skin dry, itchy, and flaky.
Please sell this in a tube!

I love that this product is an all-over-body gel which would be fantastic to wear during the day! I love the ingredient mix of humectants and emollients!I wish it contained ceramides and panthenol though. However,I don't buy skin products packaged in tubs because I hate dipping my fingers in the remaining product over and over again.Doesn't this encourage bacterial growth?

I just bought this and I used the moisturizing cream and the soothing gel and I pick the I I I I chose the soothing gel for my face! The moisturizing cream is thicker and works great but I personally do not like thick creams on my face day or night, but this soothing gel cream with aloe is the perfect cream that keeps my face hydrated, feels like nothing is on yet makes my face glow and moisturized! Works great on my body and face. Very soothing and moisturizing. Doesn't cause breakouts and I havent had any issues with my sensitive skin. The only issue I have with this product is that is doesn't soak in very well and leaves my skin feeling sticky. If it wasn't for the sticky feeling I would definitely give it 5 stars.

Gentle and non irritating. I like the gel-lotion consistency. I use it on my face and body and it absorbs well and a little goes a long way. I've over applied it can feel sticky for a period of time. I use damp fingertips and a small amount when applying to my face.

Love, love this product but not a fan of tub style packaging. It used to be available in a smaller squeeze bottle, but now all I can find is a giant tub. I would prefer a couple size options at least if you are only going to offer it in a tub rather than a squeeze bottle. But I would still really like to see the return of the squeeze bottle.

I love this lotion. I’ve suffered from sensitive skin for years. I’ve tried many different brands, but at the end of the day, all of them ended up causing some type of reaction (redness , itchiness, tingling etc). However, I never lost hope and I decided to try this lotion and it was just a miracle 🙌🏼 I was sooo surprised of how light and fresh makes my skin feel! It works perfectly for me, it didn’t cause irritation at all! I use it on my face only and The best part is how healthy my skin looks now. I love it. I’m so happy with the results. I’ll definitely recommend it.

A good moisturizer product. I use as a body lotion everyday. I’m prefer this gel cream more than the cream because it’s lighter and easier to absorb. My skin type is dry and this one provides enough moisturizer for all day (i apply 1-2 times/ day). Safe ingredients formula with no paraben, no fragrance and no alcohol. Very reasonable price

My skin can be sensitive and breakout easily from products . This is one of the few moistures that doesn't seem to cause me problems , and I have tried a ton of different ones. I am even able to apply it to my face though I do mix it with a small amount of water so it applies a little thinner there. This is definitely a product that I will be repurchasing .
