I have been using the pressed powder for years. The formula must have changed. It does not go on as smooth and is far too shiny. It seems to have some sort of glittery highlighter in it. Please bring back the old formula.

Horrible change in product
I’ve been using this powder for decades and is my absolute favorite. But you changed it and it’s horrible!!!! I thought I had a few bad buys but nope all the new ones are the same and horrible. Covergirl keeps changing all their products , labeling them the same and not in a good way ; I’m going to have to find a new makeup brand. Please bring back the old formula!!!!!

NEW FORMULA REMOVED TALC
I love this powder and have used it exclusively for a years. In the last year I’ve learned it’s because talc is the first ingredient which does a wonderful job at absorbing oil and blurring. I also learned that this ingredient is getting phased out of many products across many brands (high and low end) in favor of mica. I’ve dreaded the day this would include my beloved clean matte pressed powder, but it seems we have reached that time. Check the ingredients before you purchase! I did find two today that are the original formula (talc based) and they’ll hold me over until I find a new go to. It’s worth looking to see if you can get one last good compact.

Formula Change?
I have used this powder for at least a decade. It is the best remedy for my oily skin, helps my skin look flawless, and is a great color match. As of a couple of months ago, I bought compacts that I thought were just a bad batch, bad coverage, left me looking like there was highlighter mixed in, separated my makeup, just awful. I probably bought 4 different compacts hoping it was a bad batch, but now am realizing that it is probably a formula change. I now have to start the journey of finding a similar powder, and probably will be looking at a brand outside of Covergirl.

Covergirl Clean Matte has deteriorated badly
This product has changed. It used to be wonderful and I used it for years. Number 510 classic ivory gave my skin such a glow and was a perfect color match...The last couple of compacts have been horrible. The color and the coverage are NOT the same. Worst of all, I am left with a horrible glittery finish on my face! What have you done?

Powder is unusable after its reformulation. It was my stand-by.
Terrible reformulation of a standard product. I used the normal skin compacts (brown) for decades, then they reformulated that powder, making it cakey and unusable. So I switched to the Matte (blue) compacts, which was fine until the past couple of months, but now Covergirl has ruined this old stand-by product as well. It has a weird, unnatural irridescent shine to it, so No, it isn't matte at all anymore. It cakes up over any moisture or cream on skin. It cannot be reapplied over itself withour causing cakey streaks. You have to wash your face to get it off, then start all over. There is no way to achieve a matte, smooth look with this horrible new powder. Why Covergirl? Why are you ruining all the products your loyal customers love?

New Formula?? AWFUL! ZERO stars.
I've been using this product for YEARS and whatever they did to the formula earlier this year is DIABOLICAL. So thick and cakey and leaves you greasy looking and sits in your pores and gets streaky not to mention the now TOXIC plastic smell coming from it (and no, not the noxema smelling one the light blue "clean" packaging) several friends noticed too and we will now be switching brands. don't waste your time or money on this stuff anymore!
