For me, that time frame is perfect as by 6 months it is usually looking worse for wear, though it still functions fine. I suffered for years from a jaw that clicked every time I opened my mouth, but since the guards this has diminished a lot. I am very happy with the product.

Terrible experience. I mailed my impression kit in and received a mouth guard that was unevenly cut at the top and hurt my gumline. I mailed it back to cheeky with the shipping label they gave me. They told me they could not return my money because I bought the impression kit at Target. Target told me they cannot return my money because the impressions had to be mailed to cheeky. 😅 I can’t even make this up. So now I am out $90 with nothing in my possession and I have been emailing back and forth with customer service for over a month just to be given the runaround again and again.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Cheeky and love my mouth guard! My impression kit was easy to use- I took both impressions for a bottom night guard since I have a reoccurring issue with a back molar being loose on occasion and my dentist’s only explanation is that I may be grinding my teeth sometimes at night. So I chose the smallest soft guard, did my impressions, and prepared my kit. I scanned the code for my shipping label but there was an error- nothing could be found to generate a label! I had to contact customer service and they were SO responsive and helpful- everything was worked out smoothly and my kit was sent out. It took a couple weeks to have my mouth guard made, and when it finally came it fit perfectly! I don’t feel like I need to wear it all the time, I only use it when I’m having issues with that back tooth. It is very thin protection that makes me feel confident my tooth is protected without being uncomfortable in my mouth or setting off my gag reflex. It took a couple nights to get used to wearing it but now I don’t even notice it is there. I am overall so happy with this experience - you never know what you’ll get on a simple mail-order kit like this, but everything worked out perfectly for me!

My Cheeky night guard is the perfect size because it’s made for my small mouth. I haven’t gagged once wearing it. It is also helping me with my grinding at night. I was about to turn to Botox injections for my jaw pain and headaches. But my cheeky night guard has decreased my jaw pain and headaches so I don’t need to turn to Botox.

I didn’t do my impressions right away, but when I did it was pretty easy and I packed it up and shipped it back. My guards came back pretty quickly. I was surprised. It feels good in my mouth with no issues so far.

The kit comes with very clear instructions, and a link to a video to watch it in action. It is a fairly simple process of taking the impressions, mailing them in, and getting your custom guard back. I have tried the very inexpensive kind you boil in water and then fit to your teeth and the end product feels very similar so far. Time will tell how this one holds up but a good alternative to expensive ones through the dentist.
