I tried to make a smoothie today, the day my blender was delivered. It could not blend the frozen fruit, got jammed continuously and started smelling bad so I turned it off. I wonder if I got a returned product with dull blades? I really love the look and the details of this, but I might have to switch it for a different one.

It is really nice, it makes cooking easier for me, I don't have to keep stopping what I'm doing to shut the blender off or hold the jar on the base. The only reason I gave 4 stars is cuz I used the to go jar n while it was on the base it turned and almost opened up off of the to go jar blade.

I didn't realize what I was missing without this blender. But when we realized it is 4x as powerful as what was in the kitchen, no wonder. It does a fantastic job for smoothies, frappes etc. I may even let it live on the counter, which is unheard of in this house.
