[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Cliff bar chocolate chip protein bars made with organic oats and I must say like for a bar with 10 g of protein it basically tasted almost exactly like any other chocolate chip granola bar it didn’t have that weirdly thick protein bar taste and mouth feel and no weird after taste like you sometimes get. The chocolate chip cliff bar has 10 g of protein per bar and it is very filling it was hard to finish a bar I would say half is good and then maybe half later it was very tasty and a little treat to run into a chocolate chip here and there. Would buy these again .

The taste of the Cliff Bar Energy bar was better than other energy bars I've tried. I really liked the crunch from the rolled oats, roasted soybeans, and peanuts. I believe the energy bar provided me with enough protein and carbohydrates, however, the Cliff Bar has a lot of added sweeteners/sugars (organic brown rice syrup, organic tapioca syrup, and organic cane syrup). Accounting for the total of 17 grams of sugar per energy bar. The Chocolate Chip flavored Cliff Bar Energy Bar sustained my appetite and kept me working throughout the day, but I prefer an energy bar with less added sugars.

I like the texture of the bars and they have a warm flavor profile, almost brown sugar-y, which I really enjoy. For the calorie count to protein ratio, these have less protein than I was hoping. Still they are great for munching on the way to the gym in the morning.

They usually like chocolate chip flavored things so I'm not sure what about these turns them off, but they won't eat them so I probably am not super likely to buy them unless only for myself.

The ingredient list is on the simple end and I love how minimal fillers there was. Overall it is lower in protein that I would prefer but it’s still perfect for on the go. I would also like to say that it is mom approved and toddler approved which is huge!
