Almost Lipstick, not quite a lipstick, not quite a gloss, features a balm-like texture and transparent pigment that glides on sheer with a glossy slip of lightweight colour. The application technique of this versatile formula influences the look and wear- it may be worn alone or with other lip colours and, if preferred, you can easily extend the wear by filling in your lip area with a lip liner prior to application. I was hesitant at first, because it leans more on the brown side rather than red. my all time favorite lipstick is black honey, so I was super excited to try this one. it does not glide on as easily as black honey right out of the package, however i'm sure that it will glide fine after a few uses. you can build up the pigment with each swipe which I love! and it pairs really well with the lip oil!

Love Clinique, the slim clean packaging, the scent smelled like regular lipstick. The finish was absolutely beautiful and the texture was smooth. It glides perfectly on my lips. Not to mention the pigmentation was light. I truly love this product

I really wanted to love this because the color and sheerness of the product is amazing. However, it was not for me. I have pretty sensitive and dry skin/lips. And after long term use of this product, I had to completely stop using it because it was making my lips so dry, I had cracks and patches all over them. I had high hopes because this product doesn't contain any Sulfates which is usually the ingredient that I am most sensitive to. But unfortunately the formula is still not safe for sensitive skin like mine. And to make things worse, it seems the pigment gets trapped in the cracks of my lips, making the drier parts darker and more noticeable. The wax-like texture of the formula clings to dry patches.

Formula is silky smooth, hydrating and feels light on the lip. Color is the perfect shade of nude for anytime of day. I don't wear makeup often and rarely get compliments on the minimal that I do but I've been asked multiple times what I'm wearing with this. It's in my bag now all the time and I'll continue to wear it both casually and for nights out with friends.

While I love the texture & the packaging of this product, the color is a little too brown for my coloring - fair neutral toned with freckles - but the color makes me look like I'm ready for Halloween. This is great if you're looking for just a light wash of color, but also something that does not feel sticky. It feels nice, but I wouldn't say hydrating as it just kind of sits on your lips.

No matter what anybody says, this is a wonderful lipstick for anybody. I'm totally impressed. It works with anything you put on. It goes on very good and of all the lipsticks I have tried, this one does not cake on my lips and get all crumbly and dry looking. I'm going to order another one to keep in my purse. This is a wonderful product. It's not too dark. It's not too light. It's just perfect. And it is not sticky. It goes on smooth and feel smooth and it's easy to reapply without looking in the mirror.

I have a neutral olive undertone complexion. I'm a pale caribbean in the winter. All three of these colors completely revive my whole face. I can wear it with heavy makeup or alone. It's a very diverse sheer lip color. I've been using black honey since the 90s. Such a cult classic and staple in my makeup bag.

It doesn't settle into lip lines, it feels so smooth and lovely on the lips. The sleek packaging of the skinny silver tube is so nice and elegant as well. It's such a pretty color, it's not as dark as I thought it would be, since it goes on sheer. I love it!
