Colgate Kids' Harry Potter Battery Powered Toothbrush - Gryffindor

I know this is supposed to be for children, but as a Gryffindor, I couldn’t resist buying this for myself. And I have to tell you, it works pretty well.

My son is obsessed with this toothbrush . the black and gold colors feels magical . the toothbrush is perfect size for small hands and extra soft bristles.

Harry Potter? Still? In 2026?

good 👍

Very soft

My son really liked this at first, but it’s not durable and the thin part snapped in just a couple weeks

My son loved it because of the lion. I love it because it gets the job done. I wish the head was replaceable.

My daughter loves this!

full size

In one week this toothbrush turned into a complete mess! (see the pictures). Similar toothbrushes by same brand last several months till their bristles start to poke out. Where these fancy toothbrushes were made? Why their quality is so poor? Are they even safe? Colgate, you better check the quality and safety list before a class action lawsuit knocks on your door.

It's the best electric toothbrush ever and the bristles are so soft

For context, I rate products on a simple scale: 5 stars means I love it, 4 stars means I like it, 3 stars is okay, 2 stars means I didn’t like it, and 1 star means I hated it or think it’s unsafe. This is a fun toothbrush and I think that really helps kids want to brush their teeth more often. The Harry Potter House Gryffindor theme looks awesome and makes brushing feel a little more exciting instead of a chore. It is made by Colgate, so you get that trusted Colgate quality. The bristles are soft on gums, and the toothbrush even includes a battery which is nice. The vibrations provide a gentle but effective cleaning action. It is a great step up from a manual toothbrush, especially for kids who are still learning proper brushing technique. I really like that this is battery powered. My kiddo is not great at the brushing motion yet, and they are not ready for an expensive ultrasonic toothbrush. This gives many of the same benefits for a lot less money, plus the theme keeps them engaged. House Gryffindor is favored in my house so this one HP brush is the favorite of the Colgate HP themed toothbrushes.

The bristles are soft and the size of the head is good, however this doesn't have enough power to do a whole lot. I found myself doing more manual brushing as the battery powered portion of this brush didn't feel very effective.

Excellent battery toothbrush. The bristles feel good on my teeth and the extra vibration helps get them extra clean. Standard AA battery is easy to replace, no specialty button cell batteries is a big plus. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.
