I bought these to help with hanging festive garland in my house for the holidays (it’s really not even that heavy but the previous 2 lb hooks always fell off). 1/2 of them held up over the course of 24-48 hours…for how much $$ I spent I would’ve hoped they stayed up better. Also you need the thicker opaque white strips for these and CANNOT use the clear thin adhesives, it will not find the wall or surface you want to stick it to.

As many other have stated, the plastic backing piece breaks suddenly which causes the hook to fall off with whatever you had hanging on it. We had ONE hoodie hanging this on the back of the closet door. I was in the closet looking for something and this broke right in front of my. It's way under the weight limit. This appears to just be a bad design. It wouldn't even bother me that much if they would just offer the plastic piece separately, but they don't, so now it's just trash.

Couldnt hold two dry towels for more than a week or two
One of them stayed on the bedroom door well but the one that was put on the tile in the bathroom fell off. They both hold the same two towels. What’s more is that the bedroom is where the towels are when they are wet (heavier) The tile is very smooth too. Much smoother than the 100+ year old door. They only come with one command strip as well.

I followed the instructions on the package, including prepping the wall by cleasing with rubbing alcohol instead of water, but the hook did not stay on the wall when I tried to hang up a single purse. Do not recommend.

Would not hold
Stayed up 24 hours with nothing hanging from the concrete painted wall. Hung less than 2 lbs and the hook fell. Will not restick. Would not buy again.

Multiple Plastic Back Piece Broke Into 2
Ordered a bunch of these to use around my home, worked well until the plastic back piece that attaches to the strip broke off by itself, coming home to find jackets and hoodies on the floor because 3 of the 8 hooks plastic pieces broke in half with half of on the strip on the wall and the other on the floor. I hope Command has these replacement.

Great hook with a strong hold. I use it to hang up my pocketbook & keys, which can be a bit heavy. It’s held up great with no problems & it’s been up for about a year. I did move it about a month in & was able to carefully remove it without any damage. When removing pull the tab straight downwards, do not pull out towards yourself. To install make sure to put it on a clean surface, wait for the surface to dry, press the hook to the surface for at least 30 seconds, and wait a day before using it.
