I got this hook from the store, so it is a store bought and tested it out. I was a little concerned due to some negative reviews. When I followed the instruction then hang an item after one hour wait. The hook and item did not fall off. The hook seems to stay or stuck on the wall with a hanging item. I did not remove it from the wall yet but do hope it will not damage the wall in the future. I do recommend buying this hook in store on your own time.

I thought these would be great to affix to my wall to hang foam decorations and it was great until believe it or not the command hook came off the wall and took some of the paint on my wall with it! I was really shocked since I've used Command products in the past to hang things MUCH heavier than some foam decorations.

I bouth the Medium wire hooks to hang christmas decorations 2lbs or less. I used before and they worked good. This time... not good. I even changed the stick pad and it kept falling from the wall. Disappointed.

We have bought several Command hooks for our front door and they never last more than a day or two if that. We even tried the 4 lb strips and nothing holds, we have always cleaned the glass as required and let dry but they have NEVER held. We tried 2-3 on sheet rock for some small items less than 8 oz they did not hold through the day. These are a joke and a waste of money.

The command hooks by 3m are a modern decore must. I’ve been in love since they came out. No I’m not happy with the 3m n95 mask charade. But these products— if you haven’t used them are as great as Post-It notes and Scotch tape. I hang everything with these. I also love the small ones.

I've been using these hooks for many years for many applications. The latest installation is to hang the controls for my bed heaters and to hang potholders on in my kitchen. I've managed properties for over 15 years and always recommend tenants use command hooks instead of nails for hanging items to avoid damaging walls.
