Q: How does the dual voltage feature work? I don't see anything to change voltage on the curling iron
A: This unit is designed to be operated at 120/240V AC and the appliance will automatically adjust to the proper voltage.

Q: How in the heck am I supposed to curl my hair when there is no handle to hold the hair in place while I'm curling it
A: Hi Jessielove 1982! If you push the white lever down the clasp will pop up so you can place your hair, and it will hold your hair in place while you are curing it. Hope this helps!
submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 5 years agoBrand expertA: You can't! The earlier, and MUCH better, model had a longer tip with an actual hole in it, so one was able to actually hold the tip without burning your fingers. Today's products are cheaply made - just awful. Guess Conair wanted to save money.

Q: I am so confused with this curling iron. there is one button with one dot on it and another button with three dots and the light is either red or green. what does it mean and how do i control it? also, what does the thing do that twists?
A: One dot button: Usually this means a low heat setting — good for fine or thin hair or if you want to be gentle.Three dots button: This is the high heat setting — for thicker or coarser hair, or if you want faster styling. Red light: The curling iron is heating up. Green light: The iron has reached the selected temperature and is ready to use. Press the button with one dot for low heat or the three-dot button for high heat. Wait for the red light to turn green — that means it’s hot enough. The twisting part is likely the temperature control dial or a safety lock. If it’s a dial, you twist it to adjust the temperature more precisely (sometimes beyond just low/high). If it’s a lock, twisting it locks the barrel so it won’t accidentally open or close during use.
