That will take tarnish off of anything! I use it for Gold Silver and platinum the only thing you don't want to do is put pearls or Coral in it

The cloth will get black from cleaning, however it will still be effective in cleaning your jewelry. When you notice after time, it does not clean as well, then you will need a new one. Do not launder the cloth.

Q: Will it work well for nickel plated clarinet keys?

A: Our silver polishing cloth is formulated to clean and polish silver, however it could also polish the nickel if the keys also don't have another layer/coating of protection. Visually it might be difficult to assess. I would try a small area first to test.

A: Yes, there is a slight difference. The Silver cloth has a stronger formula to help remove tarnish from silver and leave anti-tarnish protection. However there is no harm in using either cloth on gold and silver.

Silver Polishing Perfection
Best way to keep my silver jewelry in all of its shining glory. I cut the original polishing cloth in half to make two smaller cloths. I rub my .925 sterling silver pendants, chains,earrings, and rings a few times until the cloth has streaks on it and my jewelry looks brand new. Best product I’ve used for over ten years. Do not launder when it becomes unusable. Replace with a new polishing cloth.

No Longer Grimy
Prior to buying this kit, I had this silver necklace I wore all the time. It eventually felt really grimy so I stopped wearing it and I saw that this had some good reviews so I wanted to try it out. As you can see, it certainly got … something off and the pendant is much shinier! It also does not feel as grimy as it used to. I don’t know if the rust could be taken off this unfortunately, but it seemed to work pretty well! The photos show a before and after as well as how the cloth looked after it all.

My life is forever changed! I just love silver jewelry and even my wedding ring is made of silver, my only issue was that it takes effort to care for it and it tarnishes. I had no idea how to properly care for my jewelry as it slowly lost its luster. Then a few weeks ago, I forgot I was wearing it as I sat in a chlorinated hot tub. I have never seen such full tarnish and nothing I tried fixed the mess I made. Well, was I shocked to see how well it worked! I have not seen such luster and shine since the day I bought my jewelry, last year. I’ll even add that, I believe my jewelry to have even more luster and shine than when I first purchased it. It was so easy and so fun! I could see the workings of my hands right before my eyes. The black streaks being left on the cloth leaving behind a luster that the photos do absolutely no justice. I will forever and regularly be using these Connoisseurs cloths. Their convenience and softness have changed my life.
