Q: Can the clear plastic mouthpiece be removed? If so, is the spout opening larger than the clear plastic piece? I don't like sipping through small openings or straws.

A: The spout of this bottle is not removable. The opening of the spout and the clear plastic is the same. You can try our Jackson chill 2.0 water bottle, that one has a chug type opening/spout.

The handle makes it easy to carry and I love the pop up straw which makes it a must have for my workouts. However, I've put it in my tote bag a couple of times with the lock on the straw of course but it still leaks, so unfortunately this can only be carried by the built in handle.

I got this bottle a year ago for my 8 years old son. As you can see this poor bootle all worn out but no leakage still using it. Super durable. My son throws bangs everywhere. Water stays cool and fresh no metal taste.

It was a decent water bottle until black mold started forming around the bite spout. I tried a small bottle brush but it won’t clean it completely. I popped out the bite spout to fully clean it but you cannot pop it back in. Now I have a broken water bottle that cannot be recycled and will end up in a landfill.

I tested it by bringing it with me in the car for a backpacking trip and leaving it in the car (because it's not backpacking weight friendly haha) and the water was still cold when we got back two days later! The handle makes it nice to carry and by folding on the top, keeps the bottle nice and sleek with nothing getting in the way so it tucks into a backpack nicely.

I have SO many different water bottles and each of them has something about them that bugs me sooner or later. This one is checking all the boxes so far Love the look. It is sleek, easy to carry and I LOVE the baby blue color It doesnt leak! Seems like such an easy ask but so many bottles have leaked when Im on the go with the kids and it drives me crazy. I love the lock on the bottle to prevent the spout from popping open. It is skinny enough of a bottle that my kids can hold it comfortably in their little hands as well. The best features for me are the small & easy-to-carry handle at the top of the bottle plus the straw inside. It definitely keeps water cold until the next day (and in this hot summer thats a must!) It holds a large amount of fluids (710 mls) and thats a bonus for me since. I especially love that the spout is covered when its not in use keeping it safe from dirt and germs. 100% recommend this bottle; they last forever!
