Two people in my family tried this. First I tried it. I’m accustomed to a memory foam cervical pillow, so I tried to create a “plush” version of that by putting all the stuffing in to maximize the firmness and then rearranging the stuffing into a cervical-pillow-like shape. This was unsuccessful. After 1 night, I realized that the pillow—though plush—couldn’t be as supportive as memory foam. So another member of my family tried it. He prefers standard plush (non-memory-foam) pillows and is on a continual pillow hunt. He started with all the stuffing in and removed a gallon-sized bag of stuffing each night until he reached the desired level of fluffiness (then fine-tuned it at the end by adding back a small amount of stuffing as needed). It took him several nights to figure out the right firmness level, but he was able to, and now it actually works for him - which is saying something!! So overall: Pros: -Well made. The zipper in particular feels solid but is small enough that it doesn’t stick out or create an uncomfortable hard spot on the side of the pillow. -It’s easy to add and remove the stuffing. -If you’re willing to put in the time to get this to the plush-ness level you want, then you have the ability to make it your ideal pillow rather than having to go buy pillow after pillow. -This doesn’t present any issues for people with allergies. Both I and the other member of my family (the ultimate pillow user) have allergies and the pillow didn’t present any problems on that front. Cons: -The stuffing gets everywhere when you take it out. -Although the extra stuffing the company provides (at the beginning) is “chunky” and easy to separate, the stuffing that’s already in the pillow is in solid sheets, so it’s harder to add/ remove small portions of the solid sheets vs. adding/ removing to “chunky” stuffing. -This is not for people who need memory-foam-level support. Even with all of the stuffing, the pillow’s firmness isn’t comparable to a memory foam pillow. -It takes some trial and error to figure out the right amount of stuffing/ firmness.

The Coop Medium, Premier Customizable Pillow feels ultra soft and plush. I like that you can add more filling or remove some. The fabric feels amazing but you would be putting a pillowcase over this. The density is medium and feels supportive.

I like firm pillows. I was sleeping on an old memory foam pillow that really needed to be replaced. I received this pillow and was intrigued by the ability to adjust it, but also skeptical. I initially thought I would need to add foam, but found myself taking some out. It's easy enough to do, but a but messy if you're not careful. It comes with a good amount of extra foam if you do need it, so just save it somewhere in case you need to add any in the future. I do worry a bit about how well it will hold up, but the first week or so has been pretty comfortable. I have no complaints.

I am impressed with this pillow and the feature of customizing it (soft, firm, fluffy or less fluffy). The only downside is that the stuffing inside is a bit messy when arranging it and customizing it.

I truly love this pillow. It really forms to fit your shape and you can adjust it to fit your liking either firm or soft. It's definitely a well-made pillow and I will definitely want to buy more for our household would recommend!

This pillow is great if you don’t need extra fluff. I love that it stays cool and doesn’t lose its shape overnight. The extra insert that’s included is a great touch for those who like a thicker pillow. I have 4 stars because I need a bit more support.

So far I love this pillow. It has only been one week with it but it’s holding up for now. It’s a combination of down alternative fill plus memory foam! I am a side sleeper so it works well for me. Fluffy but not too fluffy. It also came with a little extra filling for when it flattens a bit.

I really like the idea of this pillow. It's difficult to judge how a pillow is going to feel to you, personally, when you buy it. This gives you the option of adding more stuffing or taking some away. I happen to like layering my pillows, so that I'll have a more-firm pillow underneath a softer pillow. Just a quirk of mine. Once I took a little bit of filling away from the Coop pillow, it worked well for me. Not QUITE as soft as an all-feather pillow, if that's what you like, but pretty darn soft. I like it.

This Coop Sleep Goods Premier Pillow is customizable for comfort. It comes with extra fill to adjust the firmness for your preference. I like the softness and the memory foam for support. It is hypoallergenic and has microfiber fabric. I get a better quality sleep since using this pillow. I would definitely recommend this great quality pillow.

“Love it” are the words my husband used to describe this pillow. He said it offers the perfect amount of support and softness. The package says it is “self-adjusting”, and it does what it says! This pillow will adjust to give the best support based on your sleeping position. My husband has reported less headaches and overall feeling more rested in the mornings since using this pillow!

This is a great pillow! It’s firm and supportive yet still has a nice softness to it. It’s not too fluffy, which I appreciate, it has a slim profile. It’s not too firm like the memory foam pillows either and there is extra stuffing provided so you can adjust the firmness even more. All around this is a great pillow, it fits my needs and preferences perfectly.

I was having a neck pain time to time and looking for a decent pillow. I love the fact that this pillow allows you to adjust the firmness by adding or removing the stuffing that comes with. If you like your pillow extra firm and high, you can add more stuffing. Or if your pillow starts to go flat, you can put more stuffing. Now I can sleep better and don't feel much neck pain in the morning.

The Coop Home Goods Medium The Premier Customizable Pillow is exactly what I needed. I love that this pillow is customizable. The company also provided extra fill for the pillow. I prefer a lower pillow, so I ended up removing some of the filling. This pillow has two compartments to add or remove filling. The pillow is very soft, comfortable, and you can make it firm or soft to your liking. I definitely recommend this pillow.

I like that the pillow has the option for more fullness and firmness with the included / additional fluff. To be honest, though, I thought the pillow was sufficiently firm without the addition of the fluff, and I like a firm pillow (side sleeper). The zippers did not catch in the fabric.

I love that this pillow is a combination of memory foam and down alternative. It is so incredibly comfortable! The memory foam gives my head and neck support, while the down alternative is soft. There are zippers along the side to add or remove the down alternative so I get the perfect pillow for me. It comes with plenty of extra down alternative material to add. The sides of the pillow have gussets, which have been great for adding support.

Nice pillow that has a good amount of fill. I really appreciate that I can add or remove fill to make the perfect pillow for my needs. Seems to hold up well so far and the pillow feels nice and substantial. Fits well in a standard size pillowcase.

This pillow feels so good. It is incredibly comfortable for a good night’s sleep. It is soft but also firm. I tend to like my pillow on the firmer side, and this pillow is just firm enough. The memory foam allows it to mold to my head while sleeping.

After reading other reviews, I didn’t have high expectations. I really like this pillow and I’m picky. I’m a back sleeper and I need my neck to be cradled with enough plushness under my head so it’s not tilting my neck. It works great with the memory foam and low density fill. My husband is a side sleeper and he liked it a lot for cushioning between his legs. I used the whole bag of fill, splitting it equally to each side of the foam. It’s super soft but can be messy so just be careful when handling. Keeping the bag close to the pillow opening helps.

This is a very good pillow. Queen size, with memory foam and cooling feature. Also handily comes with extra fill to adjust the height and shape to your liking. Comfortable and nice support. Nice on its own or with other pillows

I am a hot sleeper and the pillow retains heat more than others. I found this pillow decent for guests as they can change firmness. My kids also enjoyed being able to change the pillow for their desires. The fill tends to get stuck in the zipper while you are trying to get the fill just right.
