Holds heat and super comfortable
These microbead heat packs are wonderful. They’re soft, comfortable and hold heat. We use them in the winter to warm our bed. They work so well for relaxing muscles.

Heat retention
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It certainly provides heat, but the length of time it holds the heat is too short. I was going to order the 6”x10” Soft Comfort CorPak but switched at the last minute for the micro bead pack because of the moist heat feature. I have a 10”x13” Soft Comfort CorPak I use for cold therapy and it holds the cold for longer than I require. So I assume this type of pack will also hold the heat longer. Bottom line, I wish I hadn’t purchased the micro bead pack. I’m sure the micro bead pack works for many people. It’s well constructed and the moisture feature is definitely a plus.

Love it
My physical therapist recommended moist heat. This is my first moist compress and I absolutely love it. Moist heat seems to work so much better than my traditional heating pad on my injuries and sore muscles from ballet. I've already recommended to many other dancers, family, and friends. I was worried that the size may be too large but it is perfect. I think it's just right to adapt to many areas. I ordered the cervical size first, but exchanged for the large size because I think the cervical size would be more limited in its use.

Not a fan but it could be me
It heats very slowly- 30 seconds and then 10 second increments did not work well. Takes forever to heat that way. And it is very uncomfortable on my back. I sit with it behind me in a chair. It hurts unlike the hot/cold pack one that is flat and smooth. Sad :-(

It's been great. I believe it's my third one. Was hoping there was a way to stop the bead leaks as it ages, but overall still very satisfied.
