I have it in a bathroom that adjoins the bedroom and also opens into the entry. I leave both doors at least partly open for good airflow. Highly recommend.

This dehumidifier is amazing in my bedroom. I was able to get the humidity down from 61 to 48 in about 5 hours. I did have to empty the chamber once during the night, but it's really easy to do even when I'm half asleep! It's not so great for my workstation, which is in a larger part of my apartment, but I was more comfortable with it than without it. I would totally recommend it for up to 250sf.

My apartment is currently riddled with mold, the landlord told me to buy this dehumidifier after they went in and removed the mold. Before, my mattress is pressed against a walls and my husbands and mine pillows would be SOAKED and freezing by the time we were ready to go to bed. I found out that our humidity level is somewhere is the mid 70’s. Since running this thing daily (and emptying it pretty much daily due to the amount of water in my apartments air) I haven’t noticed any more mold growth and my pillows are no longer cold and wet. Super worth it. It definitely sucks the moisture out of the air and I love the timer function as well as you can set the humidity level you’d like it to maintain for your specific preferences

Might work well for a tiny room. But does not support 1500 sqft. Looking at the manual it says 250 or 1500 room size
