You can run this unit on the cool setting and get relief from the heat. I love.running the fan. It keeps me cool when I sleep. I bought my two units on the Costway site. Quality product and great savings.

I love this little portable air conditioner! It is great to use in rooms that you need alittle extra air conditioning in! It's so user friendly too! You just roll it to the room, plug it up and turn it all! It has different speed settings and you can set it to run for ever how long you want with the settings. It MUST be used with water and also comes with two ice packs you can put in the water to make it blow even colder air! It also comes with a nifty little remote! My home air conditioning has been freezing up during the 92 degree weather we are having and this little portable air conditioner has saved me from roasting! I just push it to whatever room I am in and it does the job! I highly recommend this unit!

Easy to use
I just got my costway evaporative air cooler. I started it up and it was very easy to use. It has a fan and a filter. So it's a fan but it also uses water and ice packs to blow cool air. It's not an air conditioner but it does blow cold air with the ice packs. It's great for a small space or if you just need a little extra cooling. It probably would be very good to be used in a dry area because it evaporates the water and puts it into the air. It's a nice small unit and it's on Wheels so it's easy to pull around to different areas. It does plug in so you do need a plug. On the controls it has on off it has a different speeds low medium and high and then it has a timer where you can set it to be on for 2 hours 4 hours or 6 hours. You have to use this with water.

Love how lightweight it is which makes it easy to move wherever needed. I currently keep it next to the bed in our small guest room and move it to the living room when needed. It makes the temperature down there very comfortable! I like it very much and am very satisfied. Recommended.

This works better in a closed close environment....i bought for a pool hut for the concession stand and it worked pretty good, its a user friendly and user error machine. If you dont dont do it right it wont work right. I think it works best being higher up in elavation since cool air doesn't rise.

Poor assembly
I had to open up my unit and attach the hose carrying water to the top of the unit. It was not firmly attached to the proper spot and came loose the second day I used it, causing water to soak my carpet after troubleshooting to identify the problem. It's fixed now and works well. But seriously? How hard can it be to firmly attach the hose in the factory?
